Now M6Gaming before you get your panties in a twist and start saying, "THERE AIN'T GONNA BE NO MORE SCAM RESOLVERS! IT IS ME AND ME ONLY!" Here me out. For those of you who are unaware tjrgg was a Scam Resolver for a very brief period of time and why he lost this rank I don't know. I have spoken with him on multiple occasions and he is the most robotic, unbiased staff member/person I have ever met (In a good way). The way he dealt with scam reports was so professional, extremely informative and very useful.

Example: This is a scam report I filed a while ago and lost that was handeled by rocket. Although, I lost he gave a very clear justification as to why I lost and it helped me to understand my mistake so I wouldn't repeat it in the future http://www.mc-market.org/threads/46862/#post-585912 . He is very well written and articulates his points well.

If this gets rejected I do not want M6Gaming to start answering reports like this because that would be so weird because I know that's not his personality.

tjrgg imo is the definition of a perfect Scam Resolver (dw M6Gaming ur still gud too <3)

First of all, may I just say...kudos on a positive staff suggestion. It's been a while since one of those has come about and I'm excited to see staff seen in a positive way.

Second of all, I want to thank everyone for the support. It truly means a lot when you dedicate some of your time to something like MC-Market and you get some appreciation for the work you do. So thank you all for that.

All that being said, let's focus on the suggestion at hand, shall we? I've thought about it a little bit. The original reason why I switched from being a Compliance Officer (as Scam Resolver was known back then) to a Moderator was due to the lack of interest I had in doing scam reports and the lack of appreciation I received. I was fairly new to the staff team when I was doing scam reports that I wasn't use to how this community responded to staff members. However, then, I got to know some of you guys and some of you guys got to know me and we've both decided that the other isn't all that bad. :p

So, I started talking with BeBosny to see if me being a Scam Resolver would even be considered. I mean, why should I even consider the possibility if BeBosny wasn't going to, right? Anyway, so I talked with him about it and based on that, I learned that it would be a possibility.

Alright, so now, it's time for me to consider the possibility and if I really want to be a Scam Resolver again. In order to do this, I need to think about why I stopped doing scam reports in the first place and I need to consider any adjustments I'd have to make to my daily life.

If you are reading this fully, you'll have read where I said I originally left partly due to lack of interest. I originally lost interest because the scam reports were starting to become a repetitive thing. As a Moderator, I get a little bit of everything and sometimes, just when I think I've seen everything, I learn I haven't seen anything yet. I suppose you could argue the same is true for scam reports, but it still got receptive, especially back when accounts were allowed. Most of the scam reports were about accounts. However, scam reports related to accounts will be taken care of when they are allowed again, so I wouldn't have to worry about that.

I do miss how I use to do scam reports and feel that the system has been butchered a little bit from back when I was doing scam reports. I was very professional and I look at both sides of all cases, mainly because I can't do much else. I really feel we should be calling them dispute reports instead of scam reports though, as it's really a dispute resolution deal and not a "Did this user scam?" type of thing, but I'll save that for another suggestion thread.

That all being said, the only other thing I need to consider is my availability/activity and if I would have time to do scam reports on a regular basis. I'm on MCM about 4-5 days out of a 7 day week and when I come on, I'm generally on for a few hours at a time. As of now, I feel that's pretty active. However, I know that BeBosny wants me doing some more of the reports you guys leave for us, so I've gradually been increasing those numbers. I like focusing on the community aspect of things as much as possible, as I know how important staff to member communication and relationships are. But I also understand that the boring work has to get done too. :p

And perhaps the most important thing I need to consider is the color of my name. I'm not a huge fan of green and much prefer this red color. :D

To conclude my response to this kind suggestion, I will say that I feel like I'm willing to consider being a Scam Resolver, along with being a Moderator, if the opportunity presents itself. Perhaps I can convince BeBosny to make Moderator the higher styling priority if he does promote me so I can keep my red name, as I would still want to primarily be a Moderator and would help out with scam reports occasionally and as needed. Looking back at the old scam report reminded me of how well I thought my scam report handing was and how much I did enjoy doing it when I was doing it.

Thanks for the kind and thoughtful suggestion, avsterbone.
