MC Ladder Ranked is currently looking for serious, highly experienced Java developers to join our development team.

About the project:
MC Ladder Ranked is a competitive Minecraft Elo-based PvP network owned by YouTuber ArtualCM (https://www.youtube.com/@ArtualCM https://www.youtube.com/@ArtualCMplus). The server is already seeing strong growth, with 2,000+ Discord members and major momentum behind it. This is a real, long-term project with a clear roadmap toward becoming one of the leading ranked Minecraft PvP networks.

We are building a full-scale competitive infrastructure, including:

• Elo-based ranked PvP systems
• Staff management systems
• Advanced backend APIs
• Matchmaking and queue systems
• Proxy / multi-server architecture
• Region-based server support / region linking

This is a paid, per-project position based on our specifications. We are not looking for beginners, vibe coders, or anyone relying on AI to do the work.

Requirements​

Applicants must have:

• Java development experience of at least 2–3+ years
• Strong experience with Minecraft server plugins
• Knowledge of Paper / Velocity
• Experience with proxy plugins
• Strong understanding of multi-server architecture
• Experience building or working on PvP networks
• Strong knowledge of ELO systems
• Strong understanding of staff systems
• Ability to fix bugs, issues, and implement changes
• Ability to hit deadlines
• Ability to work well with a team
• Ability to work multiple hours per day
• A highly detailed GitHub
• A strong portfolio of past projects

What we need from you​

You must be able to:

• Build clean, scalable Java systems
• Work on production-level Minecraft infrastructure
• Fix bugs quickly and properly
• Add requested features and changes
• Handle backend, proxy, and network-level development
• Contribute reliably and professionally
