Ok so this may either be a very bad or good idea depending on how you look at things or where you stand when making purchases.

I recently had the idea of the mcmarket wallet. This would be very similar to the steam wallet however all payments would be non-refundable when paying other users’ wallets.
This would also help to keep sales and discussions on-site as that is where the transaction takes place. You would be able to withdraw from your mcm wallet and deposit into it as well.

Scam resolvers would be able to view wallet transactions when a scam report came into effect on a user.
You can even sell and buy resources using the mcm wallet. A good business idea is make the ammount depositing into your certain amounts around the price of the premium so if anyone wants that they have to give mcm more money .

Please leave your thoughts below.

I don't understand why so many people believe having a centralized currency that is controlled by random people on Mc-Market is such a good idea.

Steam is a lot bigger than mcm and would be able to afford to lose a bit of money if they lost on the paypal dispute. Plus, Steam would just ban and remove game access so in a way the user wouldn't be able to play the game. At least on here, if the user bought something with that $10 they could chargeback and still able to use the product they bought.
But steam would never lose, they've a pretty good standing, reputation and everything

Well how does steam get away with that then?
Because steam has the financial stamina to legally fuck over anyone that tries it. MCM has MAYBE 10K 'active' users (users that have, at some point, made actual posts and threads, ignoring how many are alts). Steam numbers in the dozens of millions afaik.

As others have said, this simply isn't a viable change for us to make. It would increase liability on MCM too much and make us responsible for all of your trades, regardless of how risky they are in the first place.

It is important that users are able to understand how to safely transact online, and adding a system like this wouldn't do that, it would just allow people to make more risky transactions because if they get scammed it just hurts MCM rather than them.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
