Hello, and welcome to MCM Weekly, your one stop source for important MCM info! I'm your host, User. This week is our busiest yet, with a huge number of bans and an exclusive interview with utaninja, a member of the MC-Market staff team. I'm also trying a new format of organization, which allows me to fit more information into the thread without it looking too lengthy. It's also easier to find what you want to see. Let's begin!
This thread will be updated as new information comes in, feel free to PM me with anything of importance you would like to add! The next MCM Weekly thread will be posted on Sunday, May 19th.
There's too many for me to go in-depth into each, but I'll do the best I can to inform you about the backstory of the bans.
First off, we have EclipseBoy320 (also known as The_LegoMiner2006) and Coitus. Both of these users violated too many rules, racked up too many warning points, and ultimately, got the banhammer.
Next, we have Fatherfentanyl, Mark Hughes, and Vexaros, who both scammed out. Even though Fatherfentanyl supposedly had a net worth of over $500,000, he scammed out over $150 in a dropshipping investment. Sad. Vexaros and Mark Hughes both stopped replying to their scam reports. In Vexaros' case, he refused to pay Tehnur for bringing freelancers to his discord server. On the other hand, Mark Hughes supposedly refused to pay back a $15 loan to TK
Third, we have two ban evading accounts of Hum, being gay and x-x. gay was registered far before Hum's ban, but it may have been an alt of his. x-x was created more recently, but still before the ban, so these may have been made in preparation for his scamming out.
We also have Receptionist's ban for DDoS threats and Rambino's ban for threatening to crack plugins. Receptionist also had several scam reports open on him at the time of the ban.
Finally, we have a HUGE banwave on compromised accounts. Spanning over 2 pages, these accounts range from relatively unknown and new to much more well-known users, such as CloutGoggles, WakaSoul, and v-v. WakaSoul appears to not have been active since late 2016, and CloutGoggles since late 2018. v-v, however, last posted on Wednesday. As confirmed by Lotus, the cause of this was "credential stuffing", that is, taking leaked username/password combinations from breached databases and automatically testing them to gain access to accounts. Nevertheless, it's unfortunate to see all these users go.

If the screenshot provided as the reason for Rambino's ban is the only evidence they have, I think it's complete BS. I didn't know Rambino, but that doesn't even look like a threat. More like a mild insult to Diz's ability to secure his plugins. Just my opinion though. If there's more evidence that I don't know about, that would obviously change the situation.

In last weeks MCM Weekly, I asked you to submit questions you had for utaninja, a moderator of the site. I took the best of the questions and asked him in an interview. Enjoy!
In the past few weeks, we've had Doggy Fanpage bringing many insane accounts to the market. Now, exoticc has slowed down (although still selling good accounts) and other merchants have come to the top. This week, we have Spongebob (Deo.), Jaw (robert.), Hello (K9), wp (d e m o n), 0J (K9), yeah (snakes), Pay (K9 [sold]), Depressing (robert.), Nice (K9), Yet (Deo.), Heat (iNg), Big (rotteN), Her (Hunter Z), and Minecon (Doggy Fanpage). Cop these while you can!
