Nah I had already sent my BTC address and he was like "send this code in the pm to confirm it" and sent a codewhich also looked like a BTC address. I think he was trying to set me up so he could claim that I sent a new BTC address or something and get money from me for free.

It's the same person who was messaging me on Discord. I didn't trust that it was actually you because they were acting suspicious and took a long time to message me here on mcm.

The discord id was not 7618 though, i did look at that which also led me away.
