Los Angeles convention center, Los Angeles?

The second most populated city in America. I'm also pretty sure there was no MINECON in LA.
I'm your 50th rater ;)

Put some locations on the west coast, all the cities you named are located east coast.

Made this map a while ago. Either somewhere in south-east canada or north-east USA; Texas is too far south...

What's your skype name?
buffalosean[DOUBLEPOST=1456116574][/DOUBLEPOST]"I believe New York is potentially the greatest candidate for the next MINECON because a precedent has been set for MINECON to switch between Europe and North America. Subsequently, I think it's likely we'll see another event in North America sometime next year. Some people seem dead-set on locations such as Asia or Australia, but I don't think this will ever happen because a lot of the most prominent people in the Minecraft community wouldn't be able to attend a convention in Asia or Australia because of plane fare, lodging costs, etc. It's a very expensive trip, and in order for their to be a successful MINECON, there needs to be some cool people and panels as well.

Back to the topic of North America, I think New York is the most likely candidate as it's a region where MINECON has never been before, as there has never been any official Minecraft event in the Northeast. The West Coast was served in 2011, the Southeast was served in 2013. New York just seems like the most hospitable location for a large convention and I think it would be an optimal location for the next MINECON. (Some have mentioned Chicago, which is also nice, but the crime rate seems like a turn-off to me…)

If New York weren't the case, I think the next likely candidates would California (again) or possibly even somewhere in Canada. The only reason I say California again is because it's right in the backyards of our new Minecraft overlords, Microsoft, and it would make it easy for the main offices of Microsoft to utilize their "big guns" and make the convention a raving success. It just depends on how much influence and clout Microsoft would have in making this decision.

Finally, I say Canada, because, well, it would make the Canadian community happy and it's not that much farther of a location than New York, assuming it would be in the southeastern portion of the country. I think it would be easy for Minecrafters, panelists, and exhibitors to make it to a convention in Canada. However, I still feel like New York has more to offer." - jflory7 (Spigot Moderator)

Laughing at all of the poll choices all being in America. Do you guys realise that there are more countries on this planet than just America?
