Minecon year(s) in the title of a sell thread in the Cape section.

Hello MC-Market.

So, most of the people who are looking to buy an Minecon cape account, are mostly likely looking for which year the cape is. And since people don't feel sometimes to scroll down, to click every thread down of which year the cape is, we need to put the year in the title when selling a cape account.

This is what I had in mind how it should looks like in the title:

Example: I want to sell my 2012 cape account. it should looks like this:
'' 2012 Cape Account ''Example'' ''
Extra example: I want to sell my double 2013, 2015 cape account, it should look like this:
'' 2013, 2015 Cape Account ''Example'' ''
This goes on for triple cape accounts, etc etc.

You may ask yourself now, how can we get this successfully working? I had in mind whenever you choose of which year the cape is by creating the sell thread, it will automatically show up in the title once you posted your sell thread about it. With this, people can see which year the cape account is of their choice which cape they like to find and do no longer need to click every thread and scroll down to find their cape that they want to find.

I planned to make this for ages and felt today it was now time to make this.

The reason for this not being added yet is because it will require custom development, and there are other things which are a far higher priority such as the reputation system and resources system which need to be developed.

I’ll move this to pending, but unfortunately it’s not likely to be implemented for a few months, depending on how good any future addon developers are.

It's actually irrelevant though. And just because someone was banned it doesn't guarantee that their opinion isn't valid.

Why not just change that sub-forum to use forms for submission?

Not ideal but the format would probably make it easier for the end user, all it needs is title (text), year (dropdown selection) and content (wysiwg editor).

I'm not familiar with the addon as I haven't touched xF2 but this should do the trick https://xenforo.com/community/resources/advanced-forms.5632/

It's a simple template edit if that addon doesn't allow you to change out the create thread button.

It's difficult to explain but with our current addon the functionality it isn't possible. Rather than swapping all of our forms over to a different addon I'd rather get some minor adjustments made to our existing addon.

We also don't use XF2, we're still using XF1.

You don't need to swap your current forms over to it (which I'd recommend anyway, it's brilliant), you could just run it alongside. It'd allow:
{$fields.cape.value}: {$fields.subject.value} -> Minecon 2014: Selling my cool cape!!

What custom development would this need? You can just copy the name section of the form, and repurpose it to show the cape type, correct? You know, where it says "Name", you put in the IGN, then the IGN shows up in the title and in the thread? Just do one of those, but for the cape, then put it at the start of the cape account thread name rather than the end.
