Minecraft Client - Legal Possibilities Help

Is there any legal problications, that come with making a Minecraft Client?
Specifically a Minecraft client like Badlion Client, and Cosmic Client
A Minecraft client with the purpose to Increase performance, look cool, ect

(Not copying those clients, but making an entirely new one, that is similar of quality)

It shouldn't be an issue, but you cannot say "it's not Minecraft" since then it would be a legal issue. And, I believe you aren't allowed to remove Minecraft "watermarks"
