Hello, ever since I got my new PC, when I tried to record with Mirillis Action on Minecraft (playing in 1920x1080) my frames goes from 600-800 to 100 and it looks so choppy (while playing & looking at the recording).

When I got frustrated with it I changed my Screen Resolution to 1280x720 and now I get over 300FPS while recording which makes everything smooth. But recently I started to dislike the fact that everything doesn't look High Quality when uploading videos and want to go back to 1920x1080 but I don't want my videos and gameplay to look so laggy.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm tired of 1280x720.

OS: Windows 10
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40 GHz
RAM: 8GB
RAM allocated to Minecraft: 4GB
Monitor connected to the GPU via HDMI Cable

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Most likely your settings are too high, could also be that you have too many applications running that are NOT minimized. For me, if i run teamspeak not minimized i lose a lot of fps on mc.

I only have Minecraft & Discord opened (discord minimized)[DOUBLEPOST=1506575381][/DOUBLEPOST]I don't get why my frames goes to shit while recording. Minecraft is mostly a CPU game so it uses my i7. My recording software Action uses my GPU so Minecraft shouldn't be too affected

Are you using the Nvidia Encoder? If not, you will have tons of lag. Also, you should use Nvidia Shadowplay as it somehow has ZERO framerate drop.[DOUBLEPOST=1516933448][/DOUBLEPOST]oH GOT THAT NECRO :( I'M SO SOORRRRRy

That's weird, I got a I5 7400 with an gtx 1060 and get 300 fps when recording in 240 fps. Must be something wrong internally. Also 800 without rec.

Don't know if this is a valid option for you but GeForce Expirence recording doesn't affect my frames at all.

Hey! I have a really, really bad PC & I record sometimes. I know ways to make your fps when recording better. Try to use fraps or dedicate more power towards your game it makes your computer focus on it and not the recording software. I Used to get 15 fps recording now i get 60. Look at the second part of this video to do it.

Note This link is not to show off my video nor should it be focused that way. this is just here to help this fello.

Stop replying, this was solved and I necro'd :(:(:(:(
