Minecraft server suggestions

Hello,

So as requested (and declined/postponed) many times, we have finally decided to start planning a official MC-Market Minecraft server.
I'm creating this thread to get some suggestions from you guys on what you'd like to see.

Things like, what gamemode should it be? How should it be affiliated with MC-Market? What ranks would you like to see on it? etc.

More suggestion threads or maybe even a questionnaire would be created regarding this. This is just a thread to get rough ideas and a sketch of what you'd like to see.

I'm looking forward to it and I'm definitely excited

This is what I had in mind. But I think it would be much better to start a server with a single game mode and build from there as we grow.

Those are the opinions I'm trying to get out of this thread.

In my opinion, you should have something to cater to the whole audience. Assumptions coming from seeing what most of the ranks on accounts bought and sold tell me these are your top servers (in no order):
- Factions
- HCF
- SG
- Minigames (Mineplex/Hypixel Specifically)
- Creative

The servers will profit by making it slightly pay to win. Don't pull the "oh we don't want to make it pay to win" BS because 90% of 500+ player servers are P2W.

We seriously don't want to do this. From what was suggested so far inside the admin team is that the server won't have any kind of donation system. All ranks will be synced with our forum.

If not I think a Survival SMP or Factions. It wouldn't be hard for a community like MC-M to get the actual server setup for a few to try them out anyway.

The staff has decided this isn't priority right now.

I was honestly the only one pushing this idea forward so I doubt it will happen anytime soon.

We decided it wasn't a priority then. We've been discussing it since.

We'll host if you want 8gb of ram because of how awesome this site is

I don't see that working out for may reasons, and one being you're not proven to be a reliable hosting company. There are maybe 3 on Mc-Market. And you can't even depend on them. Hackers can get in and demolish their company, if you've been in the community long enough, you'll remember TrueWorldGaming, and that was a VERY large host, who in my opinion was in one of the top 5 hosts due to them being a non profit and making 3 cents per gb to put towards website upgrades and multicraft.

Personally, I'd like to have a hub system where everyone from MCM, who is willing, hosts their own server, but I can see lots of flaws in that. There's the matter of ranks, abuse, and general disorder. In any case, I will be paying close attention to this thread to see how it turns out.

Skywars:
Skywars kinda like hypixel with teams of 2 and solo. Have it spiced up with cool kits are flying abilities and etc.

Hardcore Factions:
When you die you can banned on the Mcmarket website and in game for a week. Have special enchants like depthsrider and poison.

Towney:
A server where users can have a non-griefing survival experience with friends and etc.

Creative:
Build whatever you want in a huge plot and have building contests etc.

Hopefully these are some good ideas!! Especially the Hardcore factions one.

Hardcore Factions would be soo bad
No one would want to die on factions to be banned for a week.
How about..
2 donor ranks (Hooked into forums, premium/supreme)
And a huge survival server
maybe 1v1..
so i can fight you (Ajdin)
