Misuse of a registered company name or trademark could mean they could sue you for impersonation, regardless of if you purchased the domain or not.

ArkhamNetwork has claimed multiple times to have a registered trademark, in fact if anything I believe they are in violation of this trademark: http://tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4805:vnezx.2.4
Mineplex however, does have a trademark http://tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4806:ykw7zx.2.1 (I believe this is the server mineplex)

Mind providing what exactly was searched as those links don't exactly work. As well, last I checked, if Mineplex properly owns the rights to their name, you definitely can't use a domain like this.

Oh shoot I thought those would work. Basically go to http://tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=tess&state=4810:oq2kt5.1.1 and search for mineplex or arkham. It will return results for the trademarks in the US and whether they are dead or alive.

That link doesn't happen to work either. http://tmsearch.uspto.gov is the proper link I'm fairly sure? As well, as you noted, only Mineplex is trademarked according to that website.

Arkham is also trademarked. However, I don't believe it is the same one that runs the minecraft server. In fact they might be in violation of said trademark.
