Can someone educate me on how dupes happen?

Not an expert, but I think it can happen when two snipers get an account at exactly the same time. Not sure how it could have happened in this case, though.

Not sure, to be honest. I've seen people selling duped accounts here, so I think they do. Don't quote me on that, though.

I think we all forget that Mojang can essentially play God and do whatever they want. It’s their game and they could easily create any account they want.

Duped accounts work (both of them) I talked to 'Nein' and I also talked to 'Nein' (different owners and accounts) I don't know how this happens but this isn't than uncommon look at for example Lisa shes also a mojang staff

I guess, but it's midnight on a Sunday. Not sure if the acc has been like this for longer, but if it happened now it would be quite inconvenient from their point of view.

Imagine paying thousands for a 2-letter name and finding out someone else got it on accident. I know ez belongs to Notch’s ex-wife and it would never happen but still.

This is honestly weird, seems like a lot of names are being duped. Even though the chances are slim to none, maybe it could just be a glitch with the site? (Highly doubt it, but still. Yes, I'm not an expert or have much knowledge on accounts and how this happens, just tossing out my 2 cents.)
