Add more staff. It's needed imo. With mick resigning and coco resigning the staff team is as depleted as it will ever be. With mick and coco it was hard for the staff to manage everything now there is less and the only active staff that do a lot of moderation are M6Gaming thebaum64 Doge and Justis . With the exception of Bebosny and possibly lyphiard if he can be classified as staff. 4 is not enough to moderate 50,000 members

Support requests take a while and chat box is only ever moderated by Justis r now the only other mod I see doing any moderation is the Baum and that's not his job.

Now I'm not trying to criticise the current staff but there's just not enough of them. Don't get me wrong they are great at their jobs but we need more.

Pls no flaming

Yes, staff is needed. But like said above, being able to apply for it is bull shit. We need a better way, i honestly think hand picked is fine, but its just, slow. Staff isn't chosen when its needed.

Because even if the OP was true, it's not something you implement in 123. Getting a staff member on the team is a difficult and risky thing if not done/screened properly.

Because activity = great personality Kappa

These are numbers. You can reach them by shitposting. Numbers mean literally nothing to me. Recently Coco left our team. She was one of the best staff members this forum has ever seen and her numbers are quite low eh? In fact, she has 600 posts less but almost 400 reactions more. According to your logic, you have more chance of becoming a staff member.

Here are the requirements: be a reasonable and respectful member. I'll repeat it: numbers mean nothing.

No, he's pointing out the fact we like to handpick our members. When I say handpick, I really do mean handpick from 0. Application process allows people to fake themselves. You can claim a bunch of bullshit in there about your experiences and whatnot but nobody really cares about that. Members care about your personality and reputation on this forum.

This. I can't express how important this is to me. I've been really careful with picking staff members. I only try to get the very best and so far I'm extremely happy with my method :)

Me > Some shitty application form.

As for activity, we had some downs in activity during August but other than that we were pretty consistent for the past 6 months. I'm not even sure how you're assuming we're inactive?

Pretty good eh. (1st is mod-queue, 2nd is report queue)

Most reports are handled within 24 hours. Support requests aswell unless I'm working on big irl projects like this week but I still manage to respond in less than 48 hours most of the time.

That being said, this thread has been posted and archived several times before. I honestly don't think you guys should be worried about the administration side of things :) We got that covered aye.

Bosny most of your staff do the job well. Don't sweat!

Make the staff requirements public?

Right now we have no clue how to even be considered staff.
good. We don't want pretenders. I know numerous members on this site that would go to ends to fit any publicized requirements exactly, then raise hell when we refuse to accept them as members of the team. We'll continue observing natural behaviour, and if we decide to add someone to our team, they'll get an offer.

Overall, the best way to become a candidate is to be active and not act like an idiot, but that much would be common sense almost anywhere but this forum. Apart from that, it really depends.
