well, a lot more than $5, that's for sure. My suggestion is taking a look around this forum's build section. Look up a few PvP maps and Factionspawns. add approx $10-20 to the BIN or whatever their highest asking price is, and you know roughly what you can expect to pay for having a build of that level and quality premade by a builder of that level.
For a factionspawn on here you can expect to pay at least $20 if you want it custom-made. Usually 30+. and for a kitpvp map prices start at $15.

the above depends very much on the builders. Pro-level maps will indeed cost as much, but if you're looking to have less than pro-quality, there's plenty of builders willing to do that.

Yes if you are looking for a decent map you can get one for $15.00 - $50.00 for a decent size just the quality will not be there.

Indeed. That price will sacrifice either playability or looks, or a bit of both. Adeptx's castle pvpmap is an example of something cheap that looks great but isn't quite as playable by normal standards.
