Need opinions on the specs of my new proposed pc build!

Hi,

I'm building a video editing pc for around £800 primarily used for Adobe Premiere pro (any money saved on this build will be put towards monitors).

Id be probably editing with proxies depending on the performance of the pc. All my footage that I'm editing would be stored on an external memory stick (with around 500 mbps transfer rates) and backups will be done on a NAS.

In premiere pro i'd usally be editing 4k with quite a lot of adobe after effects compositions linked into my premiere Timeline (thus utilising the gpu) My question is, is this is the optimal build for premiere pro with my budget? Any suggestions on revisions of the components would be appreciated in the comments of this post

CPU: Amd ryzen 7 3700x £310

GPU: Amd Radeon RX vega 56 £250

SSD: Crusial MX500 500 GB 3d Nand Sata m.2 type 228OS £40

RAM: corsair vengeance 16GB £63

Power: Aerocool integrator 600W power supply 80Plus Bronze £34

Case: S340 £30

Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H £72

I would recommend adding another SSD or Hard Drive with 1TB or so as over time 500GB won't do you, in terms of the other parts, I don't know much about AMD so can't comment.

Yeah, as stated the ssd will only be used for the operating system and the program files. I'll be editing from other means of storage. And I'll have terabytes worth of archival storage. Would you have any other comments on the build and power of the pc?

As I said, haven't a clue on AMD, I'm an Intel boy, but what kind of cooling are you going to have as I'd assume they'd get pretty toasty especially when rendering

Ill be doing stock for a while, until I can save up some more on a proper cooling block. I've heard that the stock cooler isn't too bad

The only tips I have for you: multiple sticks of RAM is better and grabbing a cheap, basic 500GB drive is fine, but you might want to get an external drive and load up windows on that for the future.

I would change the PSU and look more on EVGA, Seasonic, good Corsair and Be Quiet units or something like that. If its under 50 GBP personally I would most likely avoid it.
