Network idea - Please Read and Give Feedback :)

Hello everyone!​

Me and my partner came up with an idea for a minecraft network, to bring lots of servers together who may not have gotten noticed before. We will host the bungee, and the Hub. And than ask other experienced people to join us. We will host the server that this person wants to create, all they got to do is create it. You will be given full access to that server as it is your server. you will be named Owner on that server but that server only. You will receive the donations for your server, but we take a cut (because we are hosting it and going to advertise it). You will required to create the server under the networks name.

Perks doing this with us:
[+] You will be getting more player flow due to other servers being on the network as well
[+] You will get to be part of a experienced team to work with
[+] The networks staff team will assist you in running and up-keeping your server
[+] You get hosting for almost free to you

Down side of doing this with us:
[-] You don't get 100% of the donations
[-] You have to use our name and style

The cost to join the network is $50 (One time). Additionally we will take 25% of the donations your server makes (This is negotiable)

The reason for asking you to pay for this, is that your server will be hosted on our dedicated machines, and they cost money to run monthly. Also the Monthly costs will go to advertising, and keeping the machine alive. We are looking for around $30-40 a month. This will go to what is mentioned above.

Things you should know:
- In order for your server to be successful you will also have to do some advertising of your own.
- We cant guarantee that your server will be successful on our network, it is all about how well you make it, and how well you do additional advertising.
- If your server is not meeting our expectations, we have the right to ask you to leave the network. This is to ensure that the network won't be filled up with bad servers that is making other server look bad.

I like this idea because of the opportunities presented to other players. Perhaps you should sell cosmetics on the hub and split the profits with the other owners. As a past server owner I would've enjoyed joining something like this.

The problem is that you'd have to have a fairly impressive setup to attract good servers, because they consider themselves to be one up because they have the playerbase.

I'm not necessarily looking for people who have playerbases! Even if someone comes to us with nothing, and wants to start from fresh, they can do that! As long as the server they create is good enough to attract players to the network, we will accept them!

People can either start from scratch with us, or they can bring there server to us and we can put it on the network

This is a long term project? How long has this been in works? If this is the case I might be genuinely interested in starting a server again.

We haven't even started anything yet. If we had some people intersted, we would start to work ASAP.

This is a really cool idea. It presents many opportunities for smaller servers who want to get closer to the top. But I have a question:
Would each separate server have to get their own graphics/builders/developers or would those services be presented to all the servers?

To answer your question, Yes and no. The server name would still be VexCloud across all of the servers. Us who will be running the entire network will will take care of graphics. We will be having a developing team that the server owners will be open too, as well as a building team.

Ah I see, so in the end you will have a team of people who can do all those things for the entire network. But would the cut of donations and the 50$ entrance fee be enough to pay for all those services?

In most cases, some plugins that you need will be already created for one of the other servers, or even us! Therefor you could potentially have access to these plugins. (If the author says this is okay)

But for some things you will be wanting to buy, you can talk to me or my partner, and between the two of us, we will deside if we want to spend the networks money on it, or if we would get you (the server owner) to pay for it.

You guys are probably the most stingy and ignorant people I have met in this market. Not willing to use a cheaper host. Saying you will get 200+ players because you have a backing of a community that has no player base. http://minecraftservers.org/server/357341 The most players they have ever had online is 14.

Personally, I feel that Rylan is much more dependable on this matter than his partner. I would not consider this a "diss" because they did not break form.
