I wanted to start this thread by introducing a little about myself so you can get an idea of the kind of experience I have.
I've been programming for 2-3 years (mainly JavaScript!)
I have discovered and understand 99% of the Discord API
I have a great passion for Discord bots
I am a developer for a large Discord bot
I aim to work at a constant pace, making sure I make minimal mistakes and make sure code can be maintained by another developer if needed
I do not rush or copy/paste code, this gives me a clear understanding of what I'm making so I can write the best and most resource efficient code I can
I am very proficient at Node.JS/JavaScript, getting hold of the ropes in C# and Java
If you decide to pick me for commissioned work, I will make sure and attempt to the best of my ability to:
Use minimal memory/ram
Reduce computational power (CPU)
Reduce disk read/writes in case of a database being required (Redis/Program Cache)
TL;DR - I can make any Discord bot which aims to write efficient, non-repeating code which prioritises resource conservation as far as it can go without limiting/slowing features.
Some things to note:
Due to my approach to developing efficient and non-rushed bots, I can take longer than some other commissions, I can also aim to be quicker if that's what you have in mind!
I am open to price negotiations
I will not provide hosting, you will have to host the bot yourself, I have seen a lot of commissioned posts offering free hosting, they simply put you on a free and unstable host, or a cheap rented server stuffed with 50 other bots, I do not support this, I can provide you with the best and cheapest hosting service if need be
You must pay up-front, if you don't feel comfortable doing so, you may send me half the payment first and I will begin working on the bot. After I am done, I will demonstrate the bot and every aspect of it. I will hand over the code once I have received the other half of the payment.
Refund notice - if you decide to change your mind:
I will only process a full refund if you request one during the first 24 hours of the development
If you request one outside of the 24 hours, I will still refund you, however I will charge you for my time, efforts and planning by deducting the refund amount (I will be fair, depends on how far gone everything is!)
If you're interested, please message me in-forum with what you'd like made. I can then give you a fixed price and estimated time (not accurate) then either wait for approval, or negotiations.
I much prefer if we keep all communications within the forum, however if you insist we can communicate through Discord too.
