About the Project​

We are building a Minecraft Java 1.21.4 MMORPG server with no client mods, custom server-side gameplay, and a vanilla-style presentation.

The project focuses on fast-paced combat, progression, social gameplay, loot, gear, and build customization. It is not a story-driven RPG; the core challenge is designing systems that keep players engaged over time.

What We’re Looking For​

We are looking for a designer who understands Minecraft server gameplay and why games like PoE2, Diablo, FF14 and Hypixel SkyBlock retain players through progression, loot, and experimentation.

Coding is not a hard requirement for this role. What matters most is the ability to design within Minecraft’s technical limits: knowing which ideas are realistic, costly, hard to maintain, or likely to conflict with a vanilla-style experience.

Responsibilities​

You should be able to turn gameplay ideas into clear systems, including:
  • Balance sheets and progression spreadsheets.
  • Practical design documentation.
  • Clear feature specs for developers (optional, if you have coding experience).

Bonus​

  • Experience with Minecraft server development, scripting, plugins, or technical implementation.
  • Experience with sheet-driven development.
  • Experience with international player communities, live operations, or gaming markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America...
