Hello everyone.

I am offering a free and open-source library that aims to speed up and ease spigot plugin development.
This library is still under work, however, everything available so far should work as expected.

Light is designed to work across all Minecraft versions (namely 1.8 - 1.20), however, most features have only been tested on 1.19 (but should be cross-compatible) as of right now.

Light runs as a standalone plugin alongside other plugins which depend on it.
You can find our wiki here. It is not yet complete but is actively being worked on.

Some things that light currently features are:
  • Item Builder
  • Placeholder Builder
  • Legacy Minecraft Version Checker
  • JSON Data Storage
  • File Manager
  • YAML Config Files
  • Hex Colour Codes
  • Multiple Utilities (String, Time, Roman Numerals, Base64 Encoding, etc)
  • Abstraction-based menus (Paginated & non-paginated)
  • Abstraction-based command handler (Supports sub-commands)
  • Message Handler (Caches messages for optimal performance, supports titles, action bar and sounds)
  • MongoDB and MySQL database implementation
  • Custom handler storage and initialisation

Pull requests are welcome as they will greatly help expand the project as well as help other developers.
Suggestions are also welcome, feel free to open an issue or message me on Discord @ muhamallah.

Light can be found on GitHub here and some more information about it can be found in the readme.
You can learn how to use the library by reading our wiki or by looking at the source code.
