The apartment was inspired by the modern apartment in GTA, as well as the one you linked. The execution however, is completely different.

I do have to agree that the two are essentially different in execution, but very similar in layout. I'd like to ask Vaeron if it was commissioned to be based on that apartment.

It wasnt, the objective was to build a modern interior. We took the initiative of building it off the GTA one.

That's the unfortunate part then. Such a thing always has the risk of it having been done before, therefore creating situations like this. it's sortof hard to point out the exact differences between the builds without both of them available, but I can both see that it's different and why the client thinks they're not.

Purchased a build last week for a modern home and I was told it would be done by Wednesday. The build wasn't finished until Saturday, and to make matters worse.. it turned out to be a public map re-decorated. Didn't bother messaging back, would NOT recommend purchasing from this team.

Hey! I did point out it would be done on Wednesday, but I did say this on Monday, you only got round to paying the down payment (which is when we start builds) late Wednesday, therefore the two day time started then, and we finished the build on Saturday, so only really 12 hours late.

Also, the build itself, I gave the commission to Adorable and he said he'd be building a map based off GTA [I'm not too in touch with GTA so don't particularly know the apartment layouts in there], however it fitted exactly with the specifications you gave.

I don't appreciate the accusation of "copying" someone else, we might of used references however that was never against anything you told about when briefing us the concept.

those were the pictures given by the client? Those are DEFINITELY based on the same layout as that build. No wonder it's so similar.

The build was not "executed" differently, it was stripped from PMC and re-decorated. Don't see why they're still trying to defend the case.. the build was blatantly taken from the PMC version and aside from the texture packs several of the same color schemes remain.

I highly doubt vaeron would gain anything by doing that, considering how simple it is to do an interior like this. It does not make any sort of logical sense for a team as skilled and reputable as vaeron to risk their reputation by pulling a scam like this.

but to make this clear, lets have a show of the entire process of you explaining what you want, and the entire process of them delivering it and keeping you up to date. the former needs to come from you, while the latter can come from them.

The reference pictures you gave us clearly gave me an idea that it is the GTA apartment you want, hence I took inspiration from there. The execution is clearly different than the PMC one you linked, the only similarity they share is the same reference, GTA apartment.
Furthermore, I feel like you complaining is utterly unfair, considering you not only haven’t completed the payment, but no downpayment was done either. Leaving us in the position where we have the build done but the client having stepped off the deal. So if anything, the wrong is on your side. I would rather not even talk about your complaints about the deadline...

Due to the very short deadlines, and problems with the down payments, we hardly had a chance to give update pictures, but yeah it would be very dumb for us to even try to scam someone, what would be the point...To ruin our twitter/PMC fan-base for a few bucks? I don't think so..

As much as I'd like to thrash on competition and agree with you, I cannot. From my perspective and my review of all given / provided information, there are clear dimensional differences. It is in the nature of such modern techniques and the nature of client references-to-expectations that this build is similar in the idea, but not the same. Content differs in almost every respect.
