Opinions on a Thumbnail

Just made this thumbnail, below, just want some opinions on it. Just rate it out of 10 and if it could be improved.

I think you're just triggered over past experience

It looks great but I think it would look better if the background was slightly blurred so people can focus on the text and character.

I actually am not. I've used Flash Edit, not my personal favorite. I'd recommend NeroGraphics Winter Edit

Add some outter glow / colour or a drop shadow.

Also use a different rig, too bubbly. (I use fmr 5)

It's FMR Flash Edit, which is pretty bad. Like I said before, I'd recommend NeroGraphics edit.

Looks pretty good. I recommend using a bit of a gaussian blur on the background, and a drop shadow on the text, and maybe a glow on the render. I would also use a different rig, I'm not a big fan of the rounded look that the one you're using has.

3 maybe 4. I would recommend using a different mc character rig.
