OVH VPS For a MC Server?

Would this plan host a MC server without lag? I don't even know if VPS's host them I just heard they could.

What exactly do you need setup? Just a minecraft server or something like multicraft, mysql?

Well, I want a Minecraft server but I don't know how I would upload plugins ect without multicraft unless it's something like a home hosted? So I guess multicraft unless it's easy to upload plugins and .jars without it.

It's honestly easier without multicraft. You just need putty, filezilla and the server.

Use a VPS SSD if your going to, or I can help you with it hosting your server on my dedi if you want.

Is there a specific reason why ovh is 'trash'?
WSI don't include any kind of ddos protection whatsoever. You'll be null routed for 24 hours if you are hit with an attack.
They use HE as part of their fibre blend. They are a horrible carrier that is overly committed all the time. WSI also have very frequent power and network outages.

The servers are alright, what REALLY makes them awful is the support. I've been with WSI for nearly 6 months and had minimal, if any, outages.

As with OVH, good luck getting any support within 24 hours. With WSI I get a support answer in minutes. Literally.

If you went with the SSD range, you would need the VPS SSD 3, the other 2 couldn't hold 20 players without lag.
And at that price point, you're better off buying the i3 from Kimsufi.

OVH have 24/7 phone support, don't use their tickets. WSI have nice servers and support, but no DDoS protection which could be a problem for him.
