If you live in the UK and you're under 18, you can still register a bank account but with limited features. I verified my PayPal with that card, and so far PayPal hasn't cared for over a year so far.

Just make a fudging account. There are tons of people under the age of 16 on this site with PayPal accounts that are underage and usually end up getting it locked if PayPal finds out. Feels good to not have to lie about your age because you're actually old enough, Like this if you're part of that gang. gang shit.
You have to be 18 to have a PayPal account.

I never said the age limit was 16, I said most users on the site are under the age of 16. I never said 16 was PayPal's age limit.[DOUBLEPOST=1504787877][/DOUBLEPOST]
Nah, That's not how it works.

It is possible to register a paypal account without being 18. However, you will not be able to fully verify it, and you must be careful to never pass $2500 per month, at least if you live in the EU. Upon reaching that limit, you will be asked to confirm your identity, to combat tax evasion. This is when they WILL find out that you are underage. Even if this takes until you did become 18, the account will still be perm-limited.
I made my first paypal account when I was 15. I never had a particularly high revenue until I turned 20. Around that time, I surpassed the limit, and was required to confirm my identity. I did, and my account was perma-limited. I had to wait 6 months to be able to claim the $300 on my account.

In short, it is possible, but not advisable. It may be worth it to try to convince your parents a bit more first. Ask them what their reasons are for saying no, then try to counter those. I don't know what kind of people your parents are, but its best to stick to rational arguments only. Guilting or shaming them into it will only have negative repercussions in the future.
