Paypal Assistance! $2500

Hello everyone,

This Is my first post on Mc Market I'm pretty sure I'm posting In the correct place If not let me know.

I run a Minecraft server and have received over $2500 Paypal limited my account at around $500-700 but I was too lazy to send my ID and Proof of address to them I've now done that and explained how I've received the money and what the users get In return and they have permanently suspended my account due to It being "Too high risk" and have ruled there decision final (Meaning no appeals) So now I have to wait 180 days untill I can use the money. I've refunded some loyal players and they have send It to another unverified Paypal.

I really dont want to have to close the server but Ive got no way of recieving donations to keep the server online. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Hey, I too roughly about a year ago had my paypal limited with a high amount previously. From what I know about there is no way to get around this limitation. The best thing to do is wait the 180 days and then get the money transferred to your bank to get it out.

Thanks for the reply, Yep I know theres no way around getting the $2500 but Is there anyway I can still safely receive payments using Paypal? It's the main payment method for more or less anything online.

If you were smart, played dumb and send in your ID even though you're not 18. They give you your funds immediately. I had one limited aswell. Received my 600 in funds.

Well I'm actually 20 so there was no way of that happening.

How will a buissness account help? Can't they still limit me and ask for ID etc

To be honest, the chances of being limited on a Buisness Paypal account are reduced since they check if your actually funding a server, or website or domains.

But it does not eliminate all risk associated to your account, and they could limit your account if they find anything suspicious / Non Legit.

Ive came to the decision to make 2 PayPal accounts one business account (for receiving money) and one normal personal account. I'll get paid into my business account and each time I hit $300 I send the money to my personal account. And if my personal account gets limited I can refund the money back to the business. If my buisness account gets limited I've only lost up to $300 and still have the money in the personal account.

I doubt very much that they would limit both of the accounts at the same time.. Well I hope not!

The same will happen once again, after you received about $2000 in like 1-2 months, paypal will notice it and will ask to prove your existance and living adress, you will need to give some kind of ID/drivers license and some kind of bill that proves where you live. I've had this issue before and lost quite some money unfortunately as I was unaware you needed to do this and I am under 18, I have a new account that's on my parents name and when they ask for the ID again I will simply use my parent's ID, got around it.

Yeah true I could just use names and info of people I know just incase shit goes tits up.
