How is that trashing the thread? Its the truth. If you pulled the exact same thing on a build or plugin on this forum you'd get banned regardless of if you wanted to give it back after the fact. You not realizing that makes it more worrying you'd do that here. I'm not calling for you to get banned for scamming g2a, but you should probably learn not to do things like this because it hurts business.

Then tell him it was you, that you were on a VPN it's really not hard to explain this, it all sounds like bs to me.

Dude, I understand why you'd think that. Trust me bro, I have told him the truth but he refuses to believe it since he got multiple calls from the bank. I want to cancel the dispute and just sell it myself, but he wont let me. This feels wrong trust me, I am not trying to steal here.

If you win the chargeback, you have to give the knife back, ethically. Of course it wouldn't be that simple, since you'd need to track down the seller and give them their knife back.
Since it's against G2A though, I don't think there's that much of a chance.

I have the trade offer with the person in my history and I can trade it back

well then, that's one problem solved. Now it's just a case of winning the chargeback. If you don't, you can always try putting it up for sale again for a similar price, in the hopes of making back your money.

Things you can do:

- Open a PP chargeback and then cancel it immediately after and telling your dad you lost the chargeback. Most ethical thing to do besides actually telling your dad you bought the item.
- Open a PP unauthorized chargeback claiming your PP got hacked. You'll probably win because you paid via VPN and even your bank believes you got hacked.



That sentence alone makes me think that you want to keep the knife and try to get your money back though. Definitely would hesitate to deal with you in the future.

Good idea, I think I'm gonna quit this forum now tbh since this post kind of ruined what little rep I was gaining....

If you win the dispute atleast attempt to contact the previous owner of the knife and give it back to him.
