I want to start fresh and make a new paypal account in my parent's name since it's currently in my own name and I'm under 18. My current paypal is verified and it is NOT locked.

Would I be able to make a new paypal and link it to the same card as my current paypal? Or would it not allow it? My current paypal is not limited, I just want a new one.

I've had this done before where I've linked the same card to two PayPal accounts, when one got locked, it limited the other one, so I had to cancel my card to get a new card number and it's been fine on my new account now I've turned 18 ever since.

What if I remove the card from my current pp before adding it to the new one? I live in Australia if that matters. Any way to actually link it to a new paypal?

Maybe just delete the current pp or?

I need more advice on this. How can I safely link the same card to a new paypal? The new paypal will be on my parent's name so if they require Photo ID I can provide it.

I don't want the card being blocked from pp though. Advise needed

Well in that case I would recommend that you unlink your bank/card from the paypal account under your name. After that there should be absolutely no issues with linking your bank/card to the new paypal which is under your parents name. Any extra money you have sitting in your old paypal can be transferred through F&F and there should not be a fee as it would be in the same country of origin so no currency conversion fees.

However, as stated above this may cause some issues. If you do not wish for there to be a chance that you will have to eventually deal with these problems then you could just keep using your current paypal account. I have been using my paypal account for around 3 years and I have never been asked to provide ID or any form of proof to say that I am over 18, I also live in Australia and registered my account in Australia so it should be fine for you to continue using your current paypal.
