bruh why tf would you spend 700$ on a gpu and not be able to afford 3600mhz ram which makes infiinity fabric run faster...[DOUBLEPOST=1599797933][/DOUBLEPOST]
1.) Your gpu is being bottlenecked by the cpu
2.) 16gb is more than enough nowadays
3.) 11 TB is way too much, you can barely even get close to 3-4TB unless you hardcore record and save all your videos over a span of 2-3 years[DOUBLEPOST=1599797956][/DOUBLEPOST]
Never take NVIDIA's word for granted[DOUBLEPOST=1599798017][/DOUBLEPOST]
yes because 30 fps is so good. With 360hz monitors coming out and people that play 1440p at 240hz I don't see a reason why not to get the 3000 series.
I havent noticed bottlenecking at all from it, runs just fine, 16gb is decent but when i had 16gb it often times would be slow for rendering videos and some games ran slow, once i upgraded to 32gb i was fine. And yeah i have tons of videos over the last few years of youtube that i kept, probably 1tb worth of old videos just from me and another 1tb+ from people ive edited for and games take up a stupid amount of storage nowadays, but yeah its all depending on what they're doing, if they're video editing, wanting to stream and game etc then they for sure should get 32gb ram

Thank you for all the suggestions so far, I'll be taking note to do further research.[DOUBLEPOST=1599786330][/DOUBLEPOST]

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if someone had 11TB of hard drive space. I have a plex media server with tons of movies, shows, podcasts, etc. which at the moment takes up around 4TB. I'm nowhere even close to having a satisfied collection.
If you have around a $2000 budget, I'd say a ryzen 7 3700x, a 3080, 1TB SSD (for now, can upgrade later, can be sata/m.2, whatever your preference is), a decent mobo (want to get a decent one for power delivery and vrm cooling, just don't go too high-end), 16-32gb ddr4 3600mhz ram, an aio/decent air cooler for cpu (personal preference) and a decent case/fans. If you are going for nvidia's card I'd say AIO is best bet for cpu, if you are going custom where no hot air is being blown into your cpu cooler then I'd say air cooler is fine. Also, if you plan on overclocking/upgrading in the future, I'd say grab a 700-750W PSU to play it safe.[DOUBLEPOST=1599798290][/DOUBLEPOST]

You don't necessarily "notice" bottlenecking... it just means your cpu is being limited by your gpu. And unless you are doing hard-core video-editing while gaming and streaming at the same time as the editing, 16gb is perfectly fine. I'd say your setup is severly mis-configured, considering that you stream and video edit, yet you're using an intel processor...

I would take this to the Dms, This user was just asking for some tips. Not some guys fighting in his thread.
Don't see how this is fighting. If anything this makes sure that this user doesn't make a mistake by buying mis-configured parts
