UPDATED LIST AGAIN: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nzBvRv

pc peeps, give me suggestions.

The goal of the computer is the following:

- Be able to record videos with stable and 60+ FPS (Minecraft Bedwars I keep seeing people having 1000 FPS on their screen but OBS records 60 FPS so idk wtf is up with that, but also may try Apex Legends, and other games if I want to)

- Be able to play games smoothly while exporting an edited video (will be using Filmora 11)

Budget is $2500

DO NOT JUDGE MY KEYBOARD CHOICE, I like the SCISSOR KEYS TO BE QUIET AS POSSIBLE WHEN TYPING OR GAMING HMPH

Is there any particular reason you want to record videos in a higher FPS than 60? The montage videos are cool and all, but not worth anywhere near $2.5k when you can get a PC focusing more on another component for cheaper. Using RSMB or another motion blur effect could work wonders. As for the PC, you're better off buying a pre-built right now (unless you're in a country where the GPU's are around MSRP) or waiting until the prices just die down.

Either way, I'm personally running an:
i5 9600k,
RTX 2070 ARMOUR,
16GB DDR4 3600mhz,
and I can: edit, render, play rust and minecraft all at the same time. I get around 110 FPS in Rust, 1k+ in Minecraft (and I'm able to record up to 560 FPS) and 300+ in Fortnite.

My personal recommendation is to spend the money on something else if your PC is functioning well (investments go a long way), otherwise a pre-built may be your best option depending on your country.

EDIT: If you decide to go with the one on your PCPARTPICKER: your PSU is insanely overpriced, you DO NOT need 128GBs of RAM (64GB MAX, anymore and you're just throwing money away), your HDD is is overpriced (go with 2 m.2s for that price). Go with another cooler, cheaping out on a fan is asking for trouble. Other than that the 2080 is great, the processor is okay (Minecraft favours intel from my experience), I've been using that case since it came out and it's good.

Higher FPS honestly is just for the flex of seeing the big numbers and having the smooth gaming experience that my macbook pro 2015 never had... I always run about 300 FPS without OBS recording at 60FPS, but the moment I do record, it drops straight to 60 FPS and when I open inventory GUIs, FPS drops to 10...

In that case, go with this:
It might set you back a bit more than $1k with the current pricing, but if you already have the GPU then this is well worth it.

Like Sheep said, you don't need 128GB of ram. Hell I don't think you really need 64GB even. You're working with a Ryzen cpu and AM4 Ryzen will want those vroom vroom ram speeds. With the Ryzen 9 5900x, you're gonna want to make it worth it for the faster ram. From the build you provided, it seems you aren't too caring on RGB. Also, I don't feel you should go with a B450 board since you're putting a 5th gen AMD on it. Also your old board did not support the ports your front IO on the case has. Just go for the B550/X570. I altered some of the stuff you picked on this build link. Obviously, feel free to change/replace parts you don't think you want or want to upgrade.

I got you on an X570 board which has the following specs that's a bit more spec out than your old one and supports your front IO. Additionally has WIFI and Ethernet support and 2 M.2 PCIE 4.0 ports.

Like I said, you want the vroom vroom RAM so I got you on some sticks that would be perfect. If you want to go faster, be my guest but 3600 is a good speed. They are also CL16 so less latency (CL16 is the preferred latency rating). The faster ones start getting pricey and more RGB and like I said, wasn't sure if you're big on the RGB.

I switched out your m.2 selection with one that supports the Gen4 speeds and upgraded the storage but totally up to you if you find you don't need it. I have the Samsung 980 Pro 1TB cause of student discount and I don't really need it but it's very nice with how fast my PC writes big files and boots up windows. Also went with a 2.5 Drive instead of the HDD you picked. That Hard drive was over priced and you have such a large budget you can go with an SSD. Hell you can upgrade that SSD to more storage if you want too. You could go faster but the difference would be very small.

Your PSU I switched out as well. It's not really worth getting a Titanium or Platinum rating if you're under 1000 Watts (I mean really it doesn't matter but that's how I see it. Gold Rating is definitely fine). You have money left over to upgrade to a 1k watt if you want.

Your cooler could either be an AIO (I personally would do it) or the Noctua cooler selected. Like Sheep said, you don't want to skimp out on cooling. Plus you have a Ryzen 9... that boy gonna get toasty when it's under load.

Case, nothing wrong with it. I personally would be a bit different and go with something with a bit more airflow like the Corsair 4000D or 5000D. I've definitely seem them go on sale for a good price so you could wait for that if you want. Phanteks Eclipse P500A or Be Quiet Pure base 500DX are also good options but I don't think I've ever seen them go on sale. The 5000D and 4000D both come with 2 Case Fans but I added in 3 more with some light RGB in case (no pun intended) you want some. Feel free to add more if you want it. They are slim profile as well so you won't have any clearance issues (although the 5000D is a large case so that's not a worry anyway). You can probably find cheaper fans if you want. Those are just suggestions.

EDIT: Also, ignore the BIOS warning. The board you get will most likely have the updated BIOS version by now

Other than that, I hope it all helps. If you're interested in knowing my build, I have...
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
Corsiar ICUE H100i Elite AIO
Gigabyte B550 Vision D-P ATX Motherboard (I got a really good deal on this during Black Friday)
Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL (2x8GB) DDR4-3600MHz CL18 Memory (I'm most likely gonna get more later)
Samsung 870 QVO 2TB SSD (EDU Discount)
Samsung 980 Pro 1TB M.2 (EDU Discount)
MSI Geforce RTX 2060 Ventus (I had this before the 30 series were even announced and had to replace my old card in a small case at the time, a GTX 960)
Corsiar 4000D Airflow (perfect size for me)
Corsair TXM Gold 750W 80+Gold Semi-modular PSU
Corsair LL120 Fans (3-Pack)

If you looked those up, you might have noticed I went with a White-Aesthetic Build :p

If you want to go Intel that video Sheep posted is good way as well. This build was just based on the AMD plan you originally had. Best of Luck and Happy building!

Updated the list... how is this? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XmWck9 I'll also check out your thoughtful partpicking too, I appreciate all this. I got quick feedback and had some friends hybrid smash this list for me.

I'm definitely not huge on RGB. To me it just screams, "I COST MORE BUY ME LOL" Idc the look of the comp so much so that its got beast utility.

Single Fan AIO is a big no no. You will not see any improvements with thermals especially with that Ryzen 9. Get a dual (240mm or 280mm). I would suggest a triple fan but that case only supports up to dual fan. It'll be a bit quieter if you go for the 280mm AIO but I don't think by a huge difference. AIO will last you a while so get one that's good now so you don't need to upgrade any time soon.

Its liquid cooler AIO though? not a fan as far as Im aware of?

Ram is also a little bit overkill, id say you're fine with 32gb. The PSU as well You'd be good with a 850w gold (based on experience, unsure if its the most efficient way)

I was told by a few that titanium would be most efficient and if I could afford to, dont go cheap on PSU. That being said if the cpu cooler should receive more of the money, I suppose I can cut back to 850W on gold like you suggested. (did so here https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MxmCwc)

You can record videos higher than 60fps in OBS, just change the setting to "Fractional FPS Value"
1653991763729.png

For example, I record 240 fps in some of my videos, and render the video to 30 or 60 fps to get that nice effect. But be weary of the increase in time of render and upload as well as the video size, will be increased by quite a bit.

Can be seen here:

How do I always see people recording with OBS and getting 1000+ FPS in their in game FPS counter mod display on their HUD?

Do they set the fractional FPS value to stupid high and export to 60 FPS?

Also inferno hows this? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MxmCwc

Hmm, what do you mean? The in-game FPS counter has nothing to do with OBS, that's just their FPS? Unless I'm misrepresenting and you're saying something else.

Yeah. Though from my experience recording at 60 FPS with OBS and playing MC, my in game FPS counter was always fixed to 60. It never went back to the normal 200+ that I get without recording.... its a macbook pro 2015... but still. I always thought it was a hardware problem. I also had VSync OFF, so that wasnt the issue imo.

I can get 1000 FPS in game but the recording won't be at 1000, nobody records in 1k fps it'd take years to render if HD. Max ive seen done and be reasonable is 120FPS recording then 60fps render.

You need to think also of the people watching on their phones, or on 60hz monitors they really can't tell
