People still think that Mojang employees browse minecraft market selling sites and lock the accounts. This of course is not true, as proven by Doge and others.

And, why would they do that?
Use some common sense man. How effective would it be trying to lock out all the names by browsing forums?
Compare this to tracking IP's and detecting if IP's have changed too often.

The true case is, they have in the past, they can in the future, you, nor I, nor ANYONE on this forum can confirm that Mojang no longer stalk at least this forum EXCEPT for Mojang and/or Microsoft themselves.

If you want my opinion.... they still do censor names, and suggest you censor names, for accounts like this on HackForums. This forum wasn't the first site that let you sell MC accounts, and they used to lock/delete your accounts on HF, and still monitor their section.

I'd rather be safe than sorry.

how do you think were locked? I never listed mine and mojang somehow still managed to lock them.

How about the case with accounts before name changes that have been locked and when you ask for them to be unlocked providing the Transaction ID, and they reply with emails stating they have suspicion that the account has been sold, and that they will not unlock it. I didn't say all accounts monitored here will be locked, I didn't state all your accounts will be locked. But even accounts I owned and talked about on here were locked that had no email, password, username, or IP changes, were locked. Some that were appraised.

Refute that.

How about the case with the account "Number" (or Numbers), which was recently locked for being sold but wasn't reported to mojang by anyone, except for talked about.

EDIT: I meant; I didn't state all your accounts would be locked by mojang stalking you. I'm only talking about personal accounts being sold or accounts that aren't censored such as if I was stating I owned and was selling "8".

Well for a fact, I was talking about the auto-locking system.
You see here, "8" was created through a glitch and Mojang have all rights to lock that.
Most accounts people use for sniping are cracked accounts, fyi and some older OG accounts are also cracked.

If you think 8 was created through a glitch when it was, to my knowledge, legally bought without glitches. Due to before the 3 char name minimum became a thing you could have a 1char or 2char name, you're wrong.

The image was to "Number", also I'm sure you can search up and find some proof for older instances.

Dunno how you thought I said 2chars were created from a glitch but commands do not work on the one char "8". Which was why I was wondering if it was created from a glitch.

What you don't realize is what peeps use to snipe accounts with in the first place. They use cracked accounts, yes cracked accounts. These, have what, first checked by the original crackers ip address, the og owner's ip address and finally then, the current owners address. What triggers these accounts to be locked is this.

If you had the TID of "numbers" and it was from a giftcode, then that's a different story

After emailing mojang and having an extended discussion with them about the reason for the lock, they explained it was due to the account being "resold". This account was never on the market, and I had it for a good 2 months. One day I decide to put it up on Mc-Market, and literally the next day the account is locked. You know if you really wanted to believe it was a coincidence seeing as how it pretty much never changed emails, then that's fine, I just don't know how it can be explained that a Mojang support employee himself told me the account was locked due to it being "resold". Keep in mind this was an account worth around $500. Locked the next day after putting it up for sale? Told it was locked due to it being resold?

This has happened to other people's accounts as well, as most members from OGN know. I haven't heard from any recent cases this month, but it definitely has happened. The Mojang enforcement team aren't stupid just saying. Instead of making a thread based on other people's research, do your own research and ask first-hand witnesses.


Also 8 was a legit account made via an exploit. Mojang doesn't have the right to delete it as real money was used to pay for the gift code, regardless if it was made via an exploit. That's why they haven't locked it nor G despite them clearly knowing they are exploited accounts. They just refuse to provide support for them.

one and 2chars were created the same exact way, and are not glitched accounts, i had access to 8, i could use commands perfectly fine on 8. good try, though.

You realize they can't just lock accounts because they see it posted/linked here?

They can't just rely on a 3rd party verification system (for example MCM's) and lock accounts that way. I think it's more of a legal concern.

Do they browse the site? Who knows, maybe they do (Hi Mojang!). Will they lock accounts because they are simply posted here? No, definitely not.
