PEX Mysql and bungeecord

I've seen tutorials on how to set up global ranks and such, but they were on local hosts. Can anyone walk me through, or find a VERY helpful tutorial (or create one) on how to set up Global ranks and separate server permissions using, using a server host, not hosting on my computer.

I doubt theres a way to use groupmanager, but if there is let me know. Other wise ill be using PEX

Can't. Have to copy the PEX file to the other server.

Global ranks are very much possible using MYSQL, look at every popular server. Ive seen it done on video before myself, but it was localhosted, so the process was different

It's not worth the struggle. Its much easier to have multiple ranks on different servers, copy the PEX File. Works fine on large network's, I know The Hive does that.

Well that's not what i'm asking for here isn't it. Changing someones rank would take awhile, having to go to each server. I'm sure there is a script you could use, and buycraft can do it for all servers, but I want to take the extra step. It will pay off in the future

Don't have a clue. Might sound retarted, but try making the PEX file on your bungee server? Who knows

That will not at all work, as your bungee server is used to connect you to your minigame servers.

Yea, sorry. Never really bothered to do that. I just did multiple configs.

PermissionsEx has it, but i still wouldn't recommend.
I made a server, i had a plugin made a "Core" plugin that's on every server.
It would connect to the SQL Server and has ranks, coins, names, uuid, stats and others and when you joined a server (ie go from hub to sg1) it onPreLogin event (devs would know about this) you would get UUID and Username, then add prefix and they join with it.
I may have the code somewhere, but i think i forgot to save it when i reinstalled windows.

EDIT: Mind, it was 100% custom. Every single thing (except spigot/bungeecord) we didn't use Vault or anything.
It was nice, i think ill go look if i did save it somewhere, it had custom hub, custom skywars map (only got one made because i didn't want alot of maps to start) I'd recommend having 100% custom core plugin on every server that connects to SQL and performs the ranks and commands and such.
