Play custom music on a 1.11.2 server?

Hello MCM, I have noticed that there are a few servers that play custom music in the world, kinda like a sound track. Are there any plugins that you could buy or download that plays custom music, and even possibly have specific tracks for specific regions? If you know of any way to do this, please comment down below, would really help with an upcoming project i'm working on.

Maybe give players a custom resource pack with edited disks sounds then maybe a plugin to play disks to a player all the time.

I was thinking that, but wouldn't that limit the amount of songs you could have playing? The only way to make it not limit it that I can think of is to have multiple songs per disc, and have it like playlists per disk, but that would mean you would have about 13 playlists with that max. (I'm pretty sure there are 13 disks, haven't really ever used/collected them tbh in game)

Then use other sound effects on minecraft that are unnecessary / unused to your server (enderdragon noise, noteblocks sounds, etc).

Then I guess my next question is how can you make a texture pack mandatory? Like, make it so you have to use the custom pack to be on the server?

You can play custom sounds in a resource pack and not have to override the default sound effects in minecraft. Adding them somewhere in the sounds folder makes them accessible this might help you if you're interested in playing custom sounds. As with making it a requirement to use the resource pack you could possibly find one floating around in the spigot resources or maybe even here. You can check if the player has successfully applied them so I'd have to guess there is one around out there to get for free.
