Ok, guys, this has really been bugging me, is it just me or do other people hate this as well?
WHY TF DOES EVERYONE SAY COMPANY.

It's just stupid, this is a Minecraft server setup, it's not a company, your twelve years old FFS.
Why are you using the word company? Are you a registered company? No, didn't think so.

I know this sounds like a little thing but it just really makes me cringe when I see a post like this:

MC SETUPS FACTIONS IS RECRUITING STAFF! WE are a NEW COMPANY WHO ARE SETTING UP FACTIONS SERVERS! We need a CEO, CFO, A public relations manager and a human recourses department,(most of these people are like 12 - 14)

It makes me want to KMS. Like WTF it's just so cringy!

Is this just me or do other people feel like this?

I really don't understand the meaning of this thread, sure to get our thoughts on it but you know that no one is gonna stop saying "Company". A few reasons are:

- Sounds better
- Makes them look cool
- A form of advertising

And this brings up another topic/question.. Does the copyright and trademark symbol annoy you to?

I honestly find it cringy too. TBH. I find everything on MCM cringy. People calling themselves a "Teamspeak Developer" even though setting up Teamspeak/Discord isn't hard and you're not doing anything that involves coding. "Setup specialist". Like you 13 year olds have a degree in setting up Minecraft servers. Didn't know that was a thing. People calling themselves a developer/programmer even though they edit configs and don't code. Designers who label their work as quality but when you look it. It's just a shitty C4D Minecraft render using a shitty lightroom with a Minecraft screenshot in the background and some really shitty CC. If you take offense to that. Good! It's funny because i'm pretty sure i can honestly say i was better than half of the designers on this site when i did graphics 3 years ago lol and i was shit myself but i thought my graphics was good. It happens. We do graphics that we think are good. If you know who i'm talking about. You're a legend lol. MC is the place i can't take it serious. The word company is honestly overused word by 13 year olds, but hey. Maybe i'm just salty because that's what the cool kids like to say.

It's specifically this site where it's extra bad, imo. Then again, the number of 'companies' IRL that believe they're the shit is also surprising. Many of them are one-man projects that aren't worth their weight in shit. In MC the ratio of arrogant kids vs serious businessmen is just far more strongly in favor of the kids (say that IRL it's 5 shitty businesses for 1 respectable one, in MC it's about 20 to 1, if not more).
