I wasn't aware there was a "true" teen age life and a "fake" one. As I mentioned, I did have fun, tons of fun, and I wasn't anywhere near the type you describe. I was known in my school for the pranks I did to both teachers and other students, but my clothes were the exact opposite of what you put out.
Black, baggy hoodies with black sweatpants or blue jeans. I fooled around all the time, was late for class, hanged out with people that weren't "popular". I still had my girlfriend and had a really nice time in high school.
Besides...all these "popular" kids were missing out when we were squatting school because they were too busy going for coffe and stuff when we, inside school, had all the fun.
Nice, I have some Lebron 9's and 10's but I don't wear them.

omg I'm sorry, but this post is so cringey to me xD. Do people really go out of their way to do stuff like this tho?
Like damn be yourself, not to the point where you weird people out, but as long as you act confident and don't say stupid shit you'll be fine. Sure you might not be everyones friend, but who is? Hang out with the people who like you, forget about the haters.
I've got plenty of friends tho, sure I'm not always in the drama scene, but i've got many friends who are and frankly i dont care. More than enough friends for me in every class I'm in, and to hang out with. I mean, I might be more in it if i hung out with them after school too, but thats a whole other story.
Also, about the shoes thing don't worry so freaking much. Alot of people I know just have some inexpensive converse or vans, usually only the black guys care about shoes the most. Just clean them every once in a while so they look nice, and tie them (For real i cant even explain how many people i've seen walking around with untied shoes)
But really, don't worry to much about it to the point that you have to follow a tutorial step-by-step. Be happy with what/who you have, because thats probably who you'll have the most fun with anyways, my closer friends are always funner to be with than just some guys I talk to in class.
