PP Problem. "Cant recieve personal payments"

Hello guys.
I have a problem with paypal which is really annoying.
I cant recieve payments through friends and family.

Everytime someone tries to send me a payment through F&F its says "This user cannot recieve personal payments" or something like that. Which means that I have to pay the fees for paypal when they send as Goods and Services. And I also take the risk of chargeback.

My assumption is the cause of the problem is that because of my region. As I heard from someone, only USA users can recieve payments as F&F but I found this stupid and nosense at all.

Can someone tell me how do I fix the problem? Maybe its because I havent linked a credit/debit card?

This is not true.

It might be due to some limitations to your account...If so then only PayPal can tell you what you have to do in order to receive F&F payments so I would suggest to contact PayPal with this question.

If you're in the EU you can only recieve ff payments from the EU.

I know of a few people that have the same problem and it's probably because of where you live.[DOUBLEPOST=1474102684][/DOUBLEPOST]

I've done many deals with people from the US and this is definitely not the case.

Open a chat support message with paypal
this also happened to me but it seems to be fixed now !
My bank card was declined because i upgraded my personal banking account so it meant a new card that was the reason for mine

Try to readd your bank cards
and try connecting it to your bank account!

It fixed it for me
