*To start off as far as I am able to search this has not been suggested*

What I am looking to be added: Toggle Preference for ads

Why I am looking for this to be added: I believe not all Premium/Supreme users bought their ranks specifically for the ad removal purpose. I also believe not all these users mind seeing an ad on the site since most of them are unobtrusive.

Pros:
- Generate income off generous ad watching users due to adding a preference for ads rather than forcing a removal.

Cons:
- I could not find something that exactly does this however if you have other preference type things I do not see that this would be difficulty / expensive to implement since there is already a "Toggle" system in place that checks for your rank the only thing that would need to change here is to implement another preference checkbox and to redirect the current toggle (Your rank status) to the new preference.

*I am not the most knowledgeable at web back-end stuff so I know its short sited to say this would be extremely easy however I do believe this wouldn't be the most difficult thing to implement.*

Just being straightforward. I think it is futile to make an option to see ads after paying for a feature that also gets rid of them.

I could see maybe one or two users actually enabling this feature if they were Premium or Supreme... The amount of revenue then generated from this minuscule amount of users would never offset the cost of labor to implement the feature.

Just my analysis. I'm open to further input.

Thank you for feedback a little note that may change your current thoughts on the suggestion.

Currently looking (At lowtime) We have 289 members on 55 of them have ranks.
It states we have 50,238 members doing a bit of math we can assume about 9.5k are some form of rank.

^I do not have exact numbers its just a rough ballpark
If we assume 2% of my 9.5k actually used this feature that is 190ish users. That would be a couple dollars a day/week the site would end up generating off a few generous people.

Note these are not exact statistics but we can go with semi-accurate ballpark.

Great points. I guess a few $$$ a day/week would pay off in the long run. I mean, money is money after all. I guess you've convinced me.

This is an excellent idea; I do appreciate you making this, however, the cost to develop this far outweighs the benefit it gives to MC-Market.

Very few people would ever enable this, no more than 10 I'd say, and it simply isn't worth development costs to get something like this made. At the end of the day, the AdSense ads displayed to you make a minor amount of money. Even if every premium and Supreme member wanted to enable AdSense advertisements, it still wouldn't compensate for the development costs.

It really wouldn't cost that much, maybe like $50 or so I'd imagine, the thing is that I don't want users to have their experience tainted by the advertisements shown, especially when seeing them generates only a very very slight (maybe a couple of cents) increase per month in revenue.

I don't mean to sound dicky, and I do appreicate you making this.

No I understand I am not that familiar with website/ads in general I was just trying to consider the widespread of the site user activity its a lot to look into. And the tainting experience (Why i said preference) Normally can be auto triggered as enabled/disabled to start with.

But thanks for the consideration :)

You do have a lot more understanding of the site per say than I do with member personality / activity of users on the site.
