Prime Hardcore - Requesting Developer [Hardcore Factions]

Hi there, I run a Minecraft Server named Prime Hardcore. We're looking for a few new developers to work for our team.

I've had some bad experiences with developers in the past, and therefore I'm going to be careful with whom I hire.

Requirements
In order to be hired, you need to have the following requirements:​

• Experience with databases (Mongo, MySQL, Redis, etc.)​
• Fluent in Java, and know the bukkit API.​
• Worked for large servers or networks.​
• Understand the concept of Hardcore Factions (as I don't have time to explain it a million times).​
• Ability to use external APIs.​
• Have good practice/proper name conventions.​
• Easy to work with/good communication.​
• Have teamspeak and skype.​
• Have a microphone.​
• Website development or design [OPTIONAL]​

Payment
I've got a decent budget to spend on plugins, as I do think a good, quality server requires high quality plugins. However, I'm not looking to overpay.

Small Projects - $10 - $50
Medium Projects - $50 - $100
Larger Projects - $100 - $1,000

An example of a small project would be a subclaims/officer chest plugin, an example of a medium would be a coins plugin, and an example of a large plugin is our own core or events system.

Stop bumping this thread, developers are constantly contacting you but you won't reply.

I've had 5 or 6 developers contact me, and a lot of which are either not skilled enough or there may be confusions.

I can say that looking on MC-M for developers is a very hard thing to do. There are a few good developers on here, but I don't think they are very active in searching for customers as most have Spigot threads they get customers from. Without disrespecting anyone on here, Justis is a great developer who I have worked with in the past. Inkzzz is also a very good developer who works for (and may own, I'm not sure) Fatality-MC. My top recommendation would be going to Spigot and searching for a developer. There are a lot of credible developers there who would fit your requirements and price ranges. It's going to be a lot easier to verify skill on there as well.

I do know a few of the people who worked on the VeroHCF before it was scrapped, it was a large server and shutdown mainly due to Strafe and Glory leaving YT. ayresyz currently owns a server, but TheLightMC (Yarno), BuzzyOG (who can be found on Spigot), as well as Inkzzz who I talked about above.

Inkzzz charges around $7 per hour of coding. But he is extremely good, works for a couple big servers but knows what he's doing.

Honestly, with the size of your server, you might look to go to a professional service. Trying to get in touch with Compilex or drtshock or someone. That's going to be one of the ways to get 100% legit and trusted developers who work professional and not freelance outside of school.

Compilex are extremely good but have a huge amount of servers they currently maintain, without a good budget you won't be able to hire them. Your looking around $50,000+ per year. Honestly though I have no clue.

Depends on the services you get Most people who use them go with full server renovations and maintenance. Trent is definitely a good way to go. Actually, you might even be able to contact MVdW. He's a great dev, I'm sure you know plenty of his plugins like Featherboard. http://www.mvdw-software.com/ <-- contact there.

I mean you could hire my dad, he charges a lot but he's been coding since the first computer came out.

IBM pay him alot more probably than your budget but... just incase.

Rydan your not giving any developers a chance. You're not going to find any Mineplex developers, but there are some on this forum who are equivalent to their skill levels.

I've turned 2 developers down, that's all that's really contacted me to be honest.
