Not really, my prices for virtual machines are the cheapest you will find here, and the fact that I own the hardware allows me to offer such cheap services without any form of overselling.

I own hardware and couldn't ever compete with that. I'm confused how you're managing to pull a profit (or even break even) with such prices.

Well, I pay $69/Month per server for colocation, I have machines with 96-144GB RAM, so I pay below $1 per gigabyte in terms of RAM, that is how I am able to offer these prices.

You're only going to fit like 7 VMs (taking just your next CPU upgrade into consideration) onto a single machine though. I guess the only way you'll get profit from that is if someone pays for quite a bit of RAM.

That is what I am doing, the targeted audience for the product is users that want large quantities of RAM, and that is exactly who I have been selling to. However, when my E5 server is ready, I will have a lot more cores/threads for smaller VM services. This is really just to get going.

Interesting to say the least. Seems strange that you'd start at 6GB considering your audience. But hey - if it works for you, awesome!
