Promotion of Other Forums - Should we allow it or not?

Hello folks!

So, I'm writing up this thread to see what you guys think about allowing users to promote other forums and websites.

Currently, it is not explicitly stated in our rules that the promotion of other forums and websites on MCM is disallowed. However, it has been stated publicly that we do not allow the advertising of other forums and websites by Mick.

This has resulted in a little bit of controversy about what is and what isn't against the rules. So I'm here asking for your feedback. What do you guys think about members being able to promote other forums on MCM? Should we allow it? Should we not? Why do you think what you do?

MC-Market doesn't need to make so much money. They pay what? possibly at MOST 200 dollars for uptime a month, My guess is probably 50 dollars for a good ddos protected host. I'm not host expert. It doesn't need to make a fuck ton of money because what work does Mick do? I say if you want to help the site, you pay rocket or bebosny directly, and that helps the site. It doesn't help the site to donate to a guy who does 0 work besides changing his label to Mc-Market Owner for the 50th time.

I don't see anything wrong with it, if you're doing nothing wrong (aka MC-Market) then you should have no "thought" of you losing the "community".

That's the only reason that I think that's stopping from happening so the less the people know about other forums, the better.

I've got a website and I could ask for money but I don't. It's called being generous. I've had websites. I pay money out of my own pocket for my host even though I could make money to pay for my host using donations/ranks, etc. Even hooked the payments and whatever up to an admins name for a bit
