I think we should put the account section back. Its important and we STILL do trades over skype. I dont think why we should discourage it. Every account seller/buyer is still working. Just not on McM. We can make MCM much better.

As Ajdin said he would listen to the community, lets gather support for this!

Not really fair. I have got alot of og's over the past weeks and i would like to sell them. So would alot of other non premium's

This is to stop alters as I mentioned earlier.

Any dedicated seller who wants to access the forum may use $10 from the money they've made here.

We haven't decided for sure, but weI're open to suggestions.

Personally, I think the sub forum should be visible to everyone but Premium/Supreme members can access it and regular members will see a page explaining that it requires Premium/Supreme with a link to purchase it. This would be in order to avoid scammers making PMs or contacting over skype.

I definitely agree that this is better than nothing and would help the site out a lot.

However, Monty & I agree that had we come to MC-Market in the first place and seen that we weren't able to sell accounts here, we probably would never have stuck around and become members of the community.

A lot of the fresh blood that was coming through here was people that didn't really have much money to work with. These people'd manage to get a few semis and OG's to set up a shop with and make a few quick bucks. Then some of them would keep selling and start making a lot of money off of it. This is a story that anyone who has worked with OGs is familiar with. I think having that $10 barrier of entry there will hurt these people *a lot* because while $10 may not be a lot to any of us, to little kids it is and those little kids were a pretty big part of this market.

Frankly speaking, I don't see the reason for any hand-holding. If someone wants to be stupid enough to purchase from a no-post, no-rating user then that's their own fault and they're doing it entirely at their own risk. I will always be opposed to the majority being forced to suffer for the stupidity of a few.

However, as I said, if it's either this suggestion or nothing, I'll take this suggestion.

What about unmigrateds?

Don't really agree with this, but if it has to be added, I would like Doge's idea implemented.

Can't a banned user just make an alt and use the money that they've scammed to scam again? There should be a post requirement and time on forums requirement.

I would support this more than I would a Premium/Supreme lock on it because this would require just a time investment rather than a financial investment. Some kids just don't have $10 to blow on Premium and there's already the initial investment that's there for getting started in the account business. (i.e. having to get an unmigrated, get a name sniped)

What about the scamming factor? Hostage can just scam $300 off of he, and then buy premium and scam again.

I was agreeing with you. ^_^

I think it would be better like this:

Atleast 100 posts.
Been a member of MCM for atleast 3 months.
Premium, Supreme or perhaps just a namecolor purchase?

I'd say atleast 500 posts 100 is too easy and mabye 100+ ratings?

I think these are way too steep. The issue with these is that it'd just encourage a lot of shitposting from people rushing to get to 500 posts.

And I think 3 months is way too long.

How about we all just agree to be careful when dealing with members with no posts or ratings? ^_^

So yes, I proposed to Doge to make it Premium/Supreme only.
Main reason is because I've actually talked to ban evaders and accounts are the easiest way to perform these types of scams as a new user.

Now you might say, "But bebos, you're taking money!!"
Well, you're making money using my site, I think it's only fair? :3
But yeah, the main reason is to filter out ban evaders.

I don't mind this. However, I do believe a post count should be added aswell as the rank requirement.
Maybe 200 or so. So someone can't just buy Premium and go scam instantly.

I think that's acceptable so long as the forum is at the very least visible to non-premiums/supremes.

I think the only thing that should be restricted there is creating new threads.
