Hey guys, today I’m selling, the current server I currently own,

I thought it would have been fun and a great experience to own my own minecraft server, sadly (as I am 14) my parents were strongly against the idea of running a Minecraft server and shut it down 7 hours into release. As such, I wish to sell it and pass it to on to someone else who will be capable of running this server.​

Also note the shaders we had didn't render lots of coloured glass well, so spawn looked kinda weird

Not exactly, it's hosted in Katy, Texas by an old friend of mine. He was running it on his computer and I was remotely accessing it via Teamviewer from mine.

Once again, we peaked at 13 players 7 hours in, it would have kept on going up if my parents hadn't shut it down.

Hmm I wonder, sitting at my computer with the desktop of the server computer open, perhaps they closed the console and shut down the computer?

How many times do I have to point out the starting bid of 35$ and the fact that this was only online for 7 hours! 70$ in 7 hours (not even adding the money from the advertisements) means your going to make a lot of money with this.

Servers are usually worth half of what they’ve made. Not four times. Change BIN.

Well If your logic applies here, this server will somehow be worth more in a couple days as there are still pending payments.

That’s completely wrong. For larger servers, it’s half or 1/4 of total net earnings. Beadle, how much did you sell your 250 playerbase server for, and how much did it make?

So what if one user sold their server for a low price?

As well as the fact that you said it's a "Basic" setup, which means anyone could just jump on to youtube and download a premade server there, or make their own in 1-4 hours. Also it "peaked" at 13 players, that was it's highest. It was only running for 7 hours, really with that little time it's impossible to tell if it would be any good running full time.

Have you failed to read the entire thread? Perhaps you should come on, I'll give you a tour, this isn't any "Basic Setup", that was merely one of the features, it includes the basic setup of the server along with all the other features listed.

I made $61,000 Growth, and about $30k+ Profit. My server started to die, but it still had around 150-200 active people who still wanted to try it after it reset. I sold that for $2,000. I lowballed TBH, But servers while they change owners and stuff normally start to die even faster. So $2k is worth it to the buyer cause its a gamble. Now.. Now, everyone you should not be trashing this persons thread like this. Although the story is very funny, a BIN price is the maximum amount. He can set that to how high he wants, although this server may not be the best. It can be used as a foundation to create a much better server.

1. As people are still relatively active on our discord I would say yes
2. They just kinda found out
3. As being your stereotypical Asian parents, anything that doesn't advance my future career (at least that they think will) or is math will not be tolerated in their household
4. According to their standards, I do "bad" which is straight A's except (surprise!) math (which I got an 89 on)
5. I set that as a maximum, which I realize was to high, so I lowered it. As for worth there are still pending payments going over $100 and a lot of unique features.

You're right. My bad, now that I know it has the other "features" that literally every other server has, it's worth $1 more.
