Well, for me it's extremely frustrating especially after seeing all the beaches jam packed today and over the last few days and the protests going on in London with no social distancing..
That's why I said it's the people/public's fault for the death's of coronavirus. They go to beaches that are jam packed and avoid social distancing anywhere despite the government's recommendation's.

Then as soon as it's forced on them to reduce widespread coverage of the country, people can claim abuse like they're doing in the US, which has no relevance to us in the UK.

I support the BLM movement, but we don't have those issues here. We have more issues with people accepting Pakistani's into the country with acid attacks to terrorism; even with British nationality.

But noooooo
Coronavirus deaths were entirely BJ's/the government's fault.

Also BJ doesn't look at all well from his recovery from COVID, so it has probably has affected his judgement and should have an acting PM whilst he rests... And as soon as he starts getting a minutes of rest, #whereisborisjohnson trends on Twitter.

It will have hardly affected his judgement as he will be told what to do by his advisors

Yes, but PMs need to reflect on that information and decide on the best solution. So relaying that information is one thing (advisers) and actually acting on it is another (PM). There are many different decisions for every possible scenario, which PMs decisions have been most likely been a problem due to him being ill/overworked.

Speaking as someone who had COVID around a month ago I can honestly say that the virus isn’t something to necessarily fear. The virus wasn’t that painful or irritating until I developed pneumonia which at that point the worst part about the virus was the chest pain linked with my shortness of breathe. I’ve honestly felt way worse and been far sicker from simple stomach flus in the past. Alongside this the U.S. is basically back to normal with people going out in large numbers as seen with the rioting. Staying inside at this point is probably unnecessary.

The main reason I see for continuing to stay inside is to protect the elderly. I'd honestly hate to be going out and socializing and then coming home and passing the virus on to my grandma, who is then at a greater risk. How can you live with the fact that your selfish actions led to the death of your own grandma? This is a sad reality and has happened to many people![DOUBLEPOST=1591053742][/DOUBLEPOST]

Mind explaining more your views on the pakistani terrorism thing? I think that's just a general stereotype as terrorists cannot be defined by a country they come from, religion, or anything on that matter, however they can be categorised by their views.. there are plenty of English born and bred terrorists, pedophiles, and criminals. It is unfair to point out the very few of which are Pakistanis or Muslims if that's what you were referring to.

Exactly.

I don't agree with those views. There's been many cases where people have not been accepted in Britain over the years with acid attacks, and most of them has been focused on Muslims and of Pakistani heritage, or what makes them "look" from Pakistani heritage.

Point being if anything we should not celebrate BLM in the UK, if I'm not aware of those problems, black people do not receive (much) racism in the UK. Instead, PLM (Pakistani lives matter) or ELM (Everybody Lives Matter)

EDIT: Actually I'm wrong. Looking on the internet with acid attacks, it looks like one person (who is black) was attacked, whilst 14 other people were either white or didn't suggest which race they were.

I actually read about these problems and stories and there hasn't been a lot of racism (in comparison to America) so I really don't understand why TF people are doing BLM in England.

Then again, I'm not politically opinionated. Everyone should have equal opportunity, support, etc. People just support stuff just to use it as an excuse.

Of course BLM should be supported in the UK. At a time like this , it's important to unite and show the world, not just the usa that racism of any kind is wrong. But of course, All lives matter would have been better, but also focusing on one race- Black lives matter is very important. I don't support the violence or the looting though, as it started as a movement to support George Floyd but now people have taken it for personal gain, and are ruining the lives of small shop owners

It is about the message, and unfortunately a lot of people have made it about themselves rather than actual equality for all races. Racism is location dependent. Sure, we can show our support for George Floyd, but there's no point doing it in parks in London and Manchester, as well as covering the roads of protests of things that doesn't necessarily involve us.

I support the cause until it effects people's daily lives, either blocking intersections, motorways, roads; violent or non-violent. Cops here have done nothing of the sort compared to over in the US, so there shouldn't be any physical protests for BLM.

Over in the US, I absolutely hate how the police how they've responded. Especially in the last 24 hours when they've fired upon a crowd for what looks like no reason whatsoever. It's shocking and disgusting.

But there's no point blocking our roads in the UK for no reason (for BLM).

Conclusion: Racism is often misplaced. Just because it's happening on the other side of the world doesn't mean it's happening here for other people at different races, when people are at the same desperation for support.

Great response mate. Can't agree more
