It's enough to have :rekt: as an emote but as a reaction? Why can't we just keep it to the essential base reactions?

I was willing to bite the bullet and accept the re-addition of the rekt emoji simply because it's been here for so long already; but there needs to be a line. This is a place for business for many members, and already it's difficult to avoid the unpleasantries of the unprofessional children that also make this place their home.
At least let us strive to not worsen the image we give ourselves, nor encourage the behavior we wish not to see.

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I want this site to become the most reliable and trusted platform for the transacting of all sorts of unique and original products, where skilled content creators can thrive and be encouraged to continue their passions and expand the limits of whatever business or projects they're apart of, and where new and developing creators can find the competition they need to push themselves to their potential.

That point will never be reached if we're constantly adhering to whimsical suggestion such as this, which only serve to further encourage the unpleasantries of the unprofessional children previously mentioned.

I mean, realistically this is a Minecraft forum.. not sure when or how it's supposed to be an entirely serious workplace for hardcore professionals...

We're all kids or young anyways. If anything, the only serious entrepreneurs are college students that leave quickly once they achieve a real job anyways.

Whether we're selling games like the creators on Steam, creating addons to games like the developers on spigot/bukkit, creating websites for games, ads for games, artwork for games, configurations, setups, the lot...
The existence of games within the context does not immediately mean that the platform through which the business is conducted needs to be treated as and seen as a mess of unprofessional children that don't take their place of business seriously.
Because while it's fun to play games, money is not one, and people who come here with their money looking to buy from the community of content creators we all represent should feel comfortable in that their money is taken seriously, and they'll be provided a safe and satisfactory transaction.
If we can create a community of content creators, and an image that does not vaguely represent middle school, perhaps so many college students wouldn't leave our marketplace the moment they get a taste of what it's like in the world of everything not being one big meaningless chuckle.
