Redstone Lag

I own a 10-50 player factions server named MineVault. Lately we have been getting minor lag spikes from redstone dropping the TPS to around 18ish. I was wondering on what I could do to solve this issue or if i can't.

What red stone contraptions are running... Sounds like someone tried to make a redstone lag machine.

get something that limits redstone use

Try hiring someone to create you a plugin that sets different limitations on how many of each redstone item can be placed by each user. Otherwise, this may work, but I don't think it is a very fair way to do it https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/redstone-clock-preventer-2.6678/

18 tps is still decent. I recommend using a https://www.spigotmc.org/threads/compiled-native-spigot-binary.56869/ or Compilex's Spigot jar. Which allows the server's tps to go higher than 20.
