This is a very apparent thing now, more and more scammers.

To combat this, firstly upgrade the antiVPN system as its easily bypassed by free software.
AND leak the email and IP of the banned users.

Why show mercy to scammers that have banned and will be banned?
If your not planning on scamming this should not be any worry to you at all.

But I can see how someone who could falsely be banned would be mad, so maybe give it a few days for any extra evidence to show up just in case.

No. The legal repercussions alone would be beyond Mc-Market's desires. If you want to fuck people over with their data, join the US government, or maybe in a few days time you could just work for a US ISP.

NSA's gotten better though. I hear they only spy on you if you're a potential threat to the government.

Unfortunately, according to their recent reports, everyone is a threat to the government Kappa

yeah, but the NSA are bogus in comparison to the fact that right now, a bunch of excuses for government employees are voting to gut laws protecting US citizens from having their internet browsing history data sold to advertisers without their permission.
So anyone in the US not yet using a VPN, you best do so now. I'll probs start doing it anyway even though I dont live in the US.
Dont use US-hosted VPN's though.

As this forum gets slower and slower, the users and their suggestions get dumber and dumber.

One of the more worse suggestions on MC-Market. This happened on another forum **cough** loanhub. Owned by Satan . I was viewing scam reports and I saw one of the Administrators reply to the thread with the users email an ip address. I immediately messaged the Admin talking about it, I forced him to delete my account as I was disgusted he did that, even though scammers scam, they shouldn't be harmed like that.

I would somewhat agree, but somewhat disagree. Yes scammers scam and they deserve shit like this, but leaking personal information is just going to make it worst and in most cases DDoS is illegal, and if you are releasing their IP almost anyone can see it and use it for things like estimating location, etc, etc.

I personally hate scammers but this seems a bit too far. Also what happens if a scammer gets a hold of a legit account. Couldn't that mean the risk of someone innocent being harmed?

If you decide to take a scam to the police (say you got scammed in the numerous thousands), the police or a lawyer can request hte data of the person involved, but it ends there.

This would literally make MCM look worse than the scammers this suggestion is targeting

or just simply looking out to avoid a certain IP address or email address.
or by making said things public make the person who got scammed want revenge and using said things to get that revenge.

or people trying to white knight scam-fighter doing nothing but bad to them purely because they scam.
Even though what you stated is true doesn't mean that it cancels out every other thing that would most likely happen.

A much larger and more successful forum (lsx) does this. Support.

There's already a blacklist going on with MCAU for builds and devs, add scammers to that if you will, but do not ask MCM to breach data confidence.
Marisa that does not mean that this is good. That 'much larger' forum is a piece of shit if it releases the data of anyone convicted of 'scamming', it encourages petty revenge and similar actions.

I've seen numerous members on this forum express a desire to scam from scammers. As if them being guilty of scamming gives other people a carte blanche to scam them too.
This is also the reason that we allow banned members to return to open scam reports, btw. If a user from these forums thinks it's OK to scam a former user because that user is banned, even if it for scamming, then the step to becoming a full-on scammer is very small.

Apart from that, releasing information on people would make McM partially responsible for the consequences.
If they were to release someone's IP and/or email, and someone launches a DDoS or other attack, McM shares responsibility in that.
If someone were to commit an actual recognized crime (most internet scams are NOT crimes the police will act on, but other things such as extensive DDoSing might), they would become accomplices (depending on the law of the country of residence of either the 'victim' (scammer) or the perpetrator.
