Remove HCaptcha

I don't know about others getting flagged for 'unusual network behavior' but I have to verify that I'm a human majority of the time accessing the site. Not sure if it's because I check stupidly frequently and have connected to the site using several ips since I'm in New York and there's wifi everywhere but I noticed this morning that HCapton is being used now and it gave me the world's hardest time picking pictures of a boat, birds, then umbrellas and wasted 10m of my life clicking pictures. Please revert back to the legacy check for being human or clear my account of being flagged for 'unusual network activity.' I, nor anyone else, should have a difficult time accessing the site.

This happens to me about 90% of times when I open this site, it's incredibly annoying

I'm assuming they're forcing you to solve a hCaptcha every time you load the site because every time you solve one, it gives them some money.

Due to the increased frequency of attacks recently and relatively higher activity across our platform, the captcha is currently on a catch-all approach with exceptions for essential incoming traffic (search engines, IPNs, etc) in order to maintain stability. I intend on adjusting the algorithms we use next week (actual spring break) alongside updating the captcha page to be more accurate in regard to the description. In the meantime, captcha frequency has been reduced as of today and for Chrome or Firefox users, there is the Privacy Pass extension which allows you to do one captcha and skip the next 30.

As for the recent switch to hCaptcha, that is currently out of our control per my knowledge as the captcha is provided by Cloudflare.

We have been providing captchas dynamically for months in order to create a more stable environment. The only difference on our end has been making it no longer dynamic and instead applied constantly due to a recent surge in attack frequency. I intend on changing this next week.

I honestly don't think HCaptcha itself is the issue, I had to verify myself like 20 times before HCaptcha and now I still do.

More than half the time, when I select a google captcha, it instantly closes and I'm good to go. With HCaptcha, I have to solve a captcha no matter what.

Also, we recently switched to Verizon as our internet provider when I started getting verification each time.

I've only gotten 1 so far, but it took like 30 seconds, and that was me getting lucky. It asks for a boat and then half the boat pictures give no context and are equally as likely to be boats as they are to be toilets

Until this is sorted out I probably won't log in more than once per day... I am sorry but I am not keen on sitting here for minutes stare at the pictures and try to guess is it a bird or a bus...

That is likely because your IP address is dynamic. Every time it changes, it invalidates your clearance. Some changes next week will hopefully fix this.[DOUBLEPOST=1585247095][/DOUBLEPOST]

That occurs during high loads to prevent our platform from being overloaded even more in the event bots get in. This should only occur if you haven't logged in recently, however having your cookies cleared can cause this.
