Remove HCaptcha

I don't know about others getting flagged for 'unusual network behavior' but I have to verify that I'm a human majority of the time accessing the site. Not sure if it's because I check stupidly frequently and have connected to the site using several ips since I'm in New York and there's wifi everywhere but I noticed this morning that HCapton is being used now and it gave me the world's hardest time picking pictures of a boat, birds, then umbrellas and wasted 10m of my life clicking pictures. Please revert back to the legacy check for being human or clear my account of being flagged for 'unusual network activity.' I, nor anyone else, should have a difficult time accessing the site.

In that case, you may want to take a look at ways to skip a few captchas! See the quote below.

I agree with this completely removing HCaptcha would be the best option, there no reason to have to install an addon to get passes. I’ve also tested the addon it hasn’t worked as stated.

Each time I want to access each part of the forum it makes me redo the Captcha again, I'm extremely annoyed by this and honestly about to leave this site till it's removed.

HCaptcha isn't even that bad. People are overexaggerating when they say "oh it took me 15 minutes just to do one!" I've gotten a significantly less amount of captchas to do per day (only 3 total since it's been added) and they aren't even that hard. (I've gotten them on the first try every single time) Each captcha has taken me 15 seconds to a minute at most, and if that keeps out robots and DDoS attacks (which it seems like it's doing) then I don't see a need for it to be removed.

If you're taking more than 2 minutes on these captchas every time you try & access this site, maybe you're the type of thing the captcha is trying to keep out? I think people who are over 13 years of age should be able to comprehend and complete these with ease. Maybe reconsider what you're doing in this quarantine and focus more on learning and education if solving these are genuinely hard for you.

I'd rather click one button 10 times than do that fucking captcha 3 times.

The captcha isn't the most inconvenient thing for me; some of the pictures are just too ambiguous, other than that haven't had many issues.
What is rather frustrating is being sent to the position queuing page. Since it doesn't remember path(always sends you to mc-market.org) and often appears in the process of logging in(after sending log in form or 2FA code), it can take several tries to log in successfully.

That should not be occurring if you have a static IP and don't change browsers. If this occurs again, please record the Ray ID and intentionally do not do the captcha and send it to me. You can also join the not so big movement to remove hCaptcha on the Cloudflare community! Besides that, consider using the Privacy Pass extension for Chrome and Firefox or use hCaptcha's accessibility feature.

That typically is due to the server being overloaded and should not occur after the first time unless you travel a lot, use privacy-oriented browsers such as Tor, change browsers, or clear website data.
The algorithm to initiate this has been changed to make it less frequent. If this occurs again on the same browser, please PM me so I can take a look.

Unfortunately at this time, we are not able to switch captcha systems as it is provided by Cloudflare. See Cloudflare's blog post Supporting the latest version of the Privacy Pass Protocol for details.

If you are having issues, try using the Privacy Pass extension for Chrome and Firefox or hCaptcha's accessibility feature.
