This is posted on behalf of the MC-Market Cool Kids Club Community.

We (Cool kids), purchased Premium/Supreme in order to get rid of the advertisements, while supporting this site.

We come on, and we see this server management advertisement, which 90% of the whole market doesn't even need.

I've created a Poll for the community to vote.

Thanks.

Correct, back then before their recent changes to it, it said: (An Ad-Free experience)
Yep, Mick said the adsense part was added a few weeks ago. The majority of premiums bought it when it said "ad-free"
Knight I'd have to agree with you, it's kind of getting out of hand. However, it'll be a pain, as they will have to sort it out. At the same time, it's not really fair to change the old " ad-free experience " to the newer "adsense free experience". Before making adjustments like that, you have to keep in mind of the promises Verringer made to the community. "Premium members will never have advertisements".[DOUBLEPOST=1449846711,1449846518][/DOUBLEPOST]
My point is that we were promised an ad-free experience with premium and now that's being taken away. There's no reason to say premium stops ads when it doesn't. It never said ad-sense ads, it just said "ads"

If money is needed, do it another way that doesn't break a promise. There are plenty of non-premiums to click on ads. Plus I doubt premiums would be dumb enough to click on the ads and waste their money on whatever overpriced service.[DOUBLEPOST=1449839378,1449839252][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah, we should have a list of all the wonderful features and addons added to MCM so we can see what our thousands are paying for :)

Also to add on that:
How am I getting what I paid for? I purchased premium back in eh, March, and it said differently.

Proof that it said "an ad-free experience".

Pix or it didn't happen.

Even if it did, makes no difference.
Why should users be getting "special treatment" because they joined the site and made a purchase while it was still unorganized, undeveloped crap?
We progress with the rest of the community.
That section of the user agreement ensures that. As it always should have.

Lol, do you really think staff read every comment made here?
They can't even spare the time to handle reports in a decent time frame.
I don't kiss up to anyone.
I stand by what I believe.
And I believe you along with quite a few other members are being a bish about this, and need to knock it the fek off.
And I mean that in the most loving way possible. <3

Pshhh, I already posted a video on that.
Mine was also more detailed.
And formatted with the site better.
Your height is all awkward.
Reduce that to at least 600. <3

Hehe thanks!

Naw, i already done this video on another thread, also it's this forums embed thing that is fucked, visit vidme dot com / yw2P.

edit:
Vidme is fucked, not this embed, i used normal HD settings when recorded.
No I know what the problem is.
I had the same thing when I uploaded from vidme.
Edit your message and manually change the height.
I think I made mine a 600:1000 ratio... Or about that.

So getting what we paid for is being a bish? If I didn't know better, I'd call it scamming.

I don't see what everyone's problem is. Just install adblock, takes literally less than 2 minutes. Block the ad.
And then move on with your life like nothing ever happend.

I agree with Doge

I think that many premium users paid for an ad-free experience and I don't think that that should be taken away from them, and I think that anyone saying otherwise is just a kissass trying to get staff to make him a moderator.

I don't see what's wrong with just having ads for standard users who haven't paid to support this website. I'm Supreme, but I still oppose ads going to those with only Premium, because if they paid for an ad-free experience that's what they deserve, and I feel like they've already taken so many features away from Premium in the name of money-grubbing and making Supreme not a total waste of cash. I don't think Supreme ever should have been introduced.

It's already bad enough that as Supreme, I still have ads on my sidebar. That's ridiculous to me. $35 to this website (more or less lolz) and I have ads still. I don't want any of them there.

And to the people that say you can just AdBlock this shit away - many users browse on their phone and cannot do that. I browse on my phone all the time and I have seen what this site is like without being logged in and honestly the user experience on phones without being logged in is pretty awful. There are already a mountain of ads. This shit could drive away new members and customers just because the site looks so ugly without adblock.

Thanks for the Christmas theme though, Mick. ^_^ it is great

I feel users like me with premium who paid $10 for the highest rank should of remained the highest rank.

All premium users should of gotten supreme, because like now everything we bought got taken away from us when supreme came out... when we bought this rank called premium, we bought the highest rank on the website... and now we just like lost everything we paid for...

Correction: You pay to not see AdSense ads, not all ads in general.

I'm not saying that the ad isn't a distraction and I would love it if it wasn't there just as much as you do, but you are getting what you've paid for, and MCM still has bills to pay.

Just thought I'd offer that perspective.
FALSE! We paid for " - An ad-free experience"
And that is meaning ALL advertisements. So technically speaking, we can all legally charge back and win. So the best solution to this would be to create an option in premium settings to set advertisements on or off. And you guys can't go changing our perks on us negatively, because you didn't state that in your terms and conditions. But for now, personally, I'd like all advertisements to be shut off.

You must have completely skipped over where I directly quoted the fair usage policy agreement....
Yes, it did state that perks/ranks/privileges can change at any time without warning.
No you can't legally charge back and win. Because you agreed, by using the site, to the fair usage policy agreement.
And no, setting an "option" isn't the best option, because that would require a developer, time, and money...
Stuff we will not have if we don't monetize advertising space.

Short and simple: We all paid for an Ad-Free experience. No one really cares about the small advertisements on the right. The HUGE banner isn't so "ad-free".

I said Terms And Conditions, not fair usage policy. And as for the money thing, it wouldn't cost that much. And currently with the big eye sore sitting atop the market place, that clearly cost a fortune to get placed atop, must have made Mick at least $150. I'm pretty sure someone could do an enable/disable advertisements feature for probably $50 or less.
