remove needed pictures and 100char limit on rep

this stupid ass shit makes me take forever to rep someone and i just spam characters in the end anyways and still fucking get warned for it, absolutely noone likes it and the only people to do like it are those retards who think that they have an opinion in this community but have 20 reps from 1-10$ deals and have no trustability as far as an actual marketplace would take opinions from. ty

Well, our. I can both agree and deny with this.

Think about it, it prevents people from just giving false reputation, some people would be too lazy to type the whole 100 characters out.
On the other hand, every-time I give a reputation point to someone, it takes me ~2-5 minutes.
I'm not sure what I'd say, agree/disagree wise.

Vouches/Rep need to be seperated, because too much people are rep farming and it mixes in with dealing, like that dude that has 100 rep from literally FUCKING SPOTIFY ACCOUNTS

I haven’t done big deals, but I like the new system so people actually have to write shit. And not be lazy, so when someone looks at your profile they can read a lot about your deals. Instead of just fast, efficient, friendly.

Gonna have to disagree with you here. While I think 100 might be a bit much, the idea is to get people to actually explain what occurred in the deal.
In my time as mod, the amount of reputation I've seen that was 5 words or less and was absolutely meaningless still defies belief.
50-75 characters minimum seems like a good compromise.
No, it's not a good idea to lower the limit back to 0. We don't want rep like "Vouch" or "cool guy" or "sold an account yay" or some shite.
reputation is meant to be a review of the person's products and services. Any of you who've ever looked at online reviews on Amazon or Steam or Trustpilot or some such, do you look at the reviews that contain a few words expressing like/dislike that might as well be emojis, or the ones that contain multiple articulated sentences describing what the person likes/dislikes?

Honestly if you can't be bothered to type two sentences in a reputation, you have to rethink whether you should give it in the first place.
Lemme give you an example of how it could be done.
"Major Vouch, I sold this guy an MC-account with cape, he got the payment and transfer sorted quickly"
Including spaces, that's 100 characters. Excluding spaces, that's maybe 80-something. Make it a bit more detailed still and you have nothing to worry about.

On the other hand, I agree about the whole rep farming thing, but sadly what you're suggesting with the character limit would only worsen that.

But it's simply not, Reputation on this forum has slowly deteriorated into what the word means, REPUTATION, stating someones reputation on the website, this is why REPUTATION needs to be its own thing, and VOUCHES the next, as VOUCHES simply indicate the product or service provided.

I personally don't like how its formatted with "I have this opinion" because "the user did this". Its a bit of a weird format. I just throw a vouch naturally. I think the upload button is great, I dont have a problem with taking a screenshot of a done deal and put it up there. It takes 30 seconds.

im saying the format of picture + 100 char of "what they did to earn this opinion" and the other option is dumb, have one text box for a deal, 75 char limit, no picture required, and put rep and vouches into a different form.

I mostly think that the new system is a good idea. I do think there should only be one box rather than two, but 100 characters seems fine to me. I've used the new system once, and it felt better than the old system, pictures are not a big hassle to get and it prevents people from getting or giving fake reputation. Overall think that it's fine.
