Context:
After reading this thread: www.mc-market.org/threads/224150/ It seems that users are given warning points for reporting several threads in a short space of time, even if those reports are valid. Which me, and others feel is wrong.
However Justis showed in a screenshot that the rule is there to stop people from spamming the reports with threads that dont need to be delt with urgently, since it slows down the speed in which staff can go through them therefore more serious reports like dox's etc take longer to be seen too. Which is a valid point.
Suggestion:
When the report button is pressed the user should be given 3 options. Low, Medium and High. The user can type their report reason just as normal then click one of those 3.
High would be for threads that need dealing with ASAP, dox's for example.
Medium would be for things like someone trying to sell someone elses work for example.
Low would be say someone trying to sell alts, post in the wrong section or the example shown at the top of the thread.
Staff members when looking at reports would see all reports tagged High first followed by Medium then Low. That way importent reports get seen to quicker, and none importent ones dont get in the way. But can still be seen to, when there are no others more important. That way users can be free to report anything without needing to worry about it distracting staff members from more importent reports.
The box where the user clicks Low, Medium or High would have a breif example of what each is for. If someone keeps reporting threads as High when they are infact Low, then staff should still add warning points.
