Today I’m very excited to release a bunch of new features of the site and announce the staff changes we’ve made over the past few months.
Reputation System Update
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our new developer Jayson, we are finally implementing the changes to the reputation system we announced in May. Specifically, these changes are as follows:
Just a reminder that the purpose of reputation is to gauge the community’s overall opinion of you and deals are not required to submit feedback. However, the statements made about a user need to be relevant to everyone else in the community, otherwise it serves no purpose. The statements made also need to be truthful, and with the improved form’s attachments, you will be expected and required to provide proof of your statements, whether they be positive or negative.
Resource System Update- Now a minimum of 100 characters required to leave reputation
- Massively improved moderation tools and replaced deletion with soft-deleting so that accurate records are always kept
- All moderator deletions now require an input reason which will both be logged and sent to the involved users to always keep everyone informed
- Introduced a semi-automatic dispute process to replace the report button for the receiving user, allowing users to handle reputation disagreements between themselves before escalating the situation to a staff member
- Changed reputation display totals from displaying positive/negative/neutral to displaying an overall reputation score
- Significantly improved the form for submitting feedback, enforcing the inclusion of required information, such as conclusive evidence of the statements made, uploadable via attachments
- Major modifications to the display of newly created feedback in tandem with the improved form’s required info. This will enforce concise and informative reviews, including the introduction of the “value” field, which will display the total monetary worth associated with the interaction(s) represented by the feedback
- Modified rule 9.4 from the use of the word “punishment” to “threat”
- Removed rule 9.5 completely in favour of the dispute system and rule 1.3
- Addition of the following rules:
9.1.1 Do not make any claims within your review which you are not also providing conclusive evidence to prove.
9.1.2 Do not include a member's usage of the reputation system within your own review.
These changes will further ensure that feedback being left via the reputation system is relevant, informative, and justified.9.1.2 Do not include a member's usage of the reputation system within your own review.

Look forward to huge improvements to MC-Market resources within the near future at the hands of our incredibly talented Jayson, however, in the meantime we’re excited to announce a few smaller changes for the benefit of all buyers, sellers, and freeloaders who make use of our community’s resources.
- Sellers now have the option to make their resources subscription based! This means that buyers will be granted a limited duration of access to resource versions. Access to updates made after a license has expired will require the buyer to renew their subscription.
- Improved styling of resource download/purchase/feature buttons for dark theme users.
- Fixed “Feature Resource” button not working for resources without an existing ad.
- Fixed resource license pages not referencing the correct url.
Giveaways System Added
The giveaways section has always been a simple forum with simple threads, until today. Giveaway hosts now have the option to allow users to enter their giveaway through a simple button displayed at the top of the thread. The giveaway host will then have the option to view all participants in the giveaway and even automatically draw a winner, which will be posted by our bot in the giveaway thread as well as the other participants, thus ensuring fairness.
If you have an active thread in the giveaway section which you would like to convert into a giveaway thread, you will see the option to do so within your thread tools for that thread.
Staff Applications & ChangesIf you have an active thread in the giveaway section which you would like to convert into a giveaway thread, you will see the option to do so within your thread tools for that thread.
In our previous announcement we released staff applications, and they were extremely successful and effective. For this reason, we are once again opening a second round of applications to continue growing our team for the next two weeks. Once again, if you meet the criteria to apply, you will see an invitation to do so within your navigation bar.
Along with applications being re-opened, we have also made significant changes to the staff team since our previous announcement. We have:
